Pinewood Flat 5 is a well-positioned, first-floor apartment, enjoying coastal views over to Pentire Point and beyond, in the Cornish village of Polzeath.
This self- catering property sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms, making it the perfect seaside bolthole for a small family or a couple's retreat.
The compact galley kitchen is a slick and well-equipped space with everything you need to cook up a quick supper or even whip up a batch of scones for a Cornish cream tea, whilst the living/dining room offers a space to relax after a day of adventure.
The main bedroom is attractively furnished with a pretty patchwork quilt, covering the double bed, whilst the second bedroom offers twin beds for flexibility.
Guests can stroll down to the beach through the communal, tiered gardens, spending your afternoons bodyboarding, swimming, or enjoying surf and paddle-boarding lessons at Polzeath, or simply take it easy, playing and relaxing on the golden sandy beach.
Venture out on a stunning coastal walk towards Daymer Bay and Rock, before heading to Port Isaac and its amenities; you may be lucky enough to catch the sounds of the Fisherman's Friends in full song at one of their open-air concerts.

Beautiful views to the sea.
After hours of body boarding or coastal walking, we would just sit in the window chairs, looking out across the beach. 1 v minor gripe. The bed mattress was very hard. Not much sleep the 1st night but remedied by putting spare duvet covers under the sheet.

great location, really comfortable beds and nice and cool and airy despite the heat. spacious enough for 3-4 people. Well equipped small kitchen and nice hot shower. the only thing missing for me is a washing machine which would make it perfect.
We loved our stay this weekend and was great for our family of two young kids.
The location was perfect for the trail running race I was taking in part in which started on the beach. The views from the windows were great to the beach and sea, although some of the windows could have done with a clean outside, but that could have been down to the storm! The rooms were great and comfy with everything we needed. A few additions would be a pouffe for your feet whilst sitting on the sofa, information on how to adjust the temperature in the apartment (was freezing when we arrived and the page in the welcome book was blank) and a fix to the flickering light in the twin room. Would certainly recommend for a fun stay in Polzeath and the surrounding areas.
