“Yes thanks so much my son and his family had a wonderful week at 5 Pinewood flat.”

We, the extended family always rent Carn Coba (have done for the last 12 years or so) so the proximity is great.

The property

Located just a stone's throw from one of Cornwall's best surf beaches, Pinewood Flat 5 is a first floor apartment where you can enjoy coastal views over to Pentire Point and beyond. Light, and bright, the property sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, making it the perfect seaside bolt-hole for a small family or a couple's retreat. Guests can stroll down to the beach through tended communal tiered gardens. Parking outside the property is limited and may be restricted for offloading only.Only 200 metres from the beach, you could catch the first wave of the day and have it all to yourself. The compact galley kitchen is a slick modern space with everything you need to cook up a quick seafood supper or even whip up a batch of scones for a Cornish cream tea. The main bedroom is very attractively furnished with a pretty patchwork quilt on the double bed. The second bedroom offers twin beds and a useful basin.Immerse yourself in the beach and surf culture of Polzeath with its many restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries. Try body-boarding, swimming or book in for surf and paddle-boarding lessons. Or simply take it easy, playing and relaxing on the golden sandy beach. Venture out on a stunning coastal walk towards Daymer Bay and Rock before heading to Port Isaac on a Friday evening to listen to the Fisherman's Friends in full song at one of their open air concerts. Pinewood 5 is perfect in all seasons; hunker down for a winter weekend or stay in style over the summer with family or friends.Accommodation: Lounge/Dining Area Kitchen Bathroom/Shower/W.C. About the location

POLZEATH

Wadebridge 7.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.

No parking at the flat, but there is usually a space to offload outside.
