Surf Break
Description
Surf Break is a wonderfully secluded and peaceful retreat, yet offers easy access to the surf and the vibrant village of Polzeath. Nestled at the end of a private, no-through road and adjacent to a convenient woodland path, it’s just a few minutes’ walk from both the beach and the village.
This inviting holiday home provides the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests. Ideal for families, friends, or couples seeking a coastal escape, Surf Break promises a memorable stay in this stunning location.
A delightful detached property, Surf Break features relaxed, modern, and spacious yet cosy reverse-style accommodation. Upon entering on the first floor, you’ll find a recently renovated, well-equipped kitchen-diner that leads into a comfortable living room and balcony. From here, enjoy tempting glimpses of the beach and surrounding countryside through the trees—perfect for a morning coffee or an early evening aperitif.
This floor also includes three of the four bedrooms, along with a family bathroom. Downstairs, the secluded master bedroom suite boasts a super king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a cosy TV area that overlooks and provides access to the patio and garden.
Also on the lower level is a utility room with a sink, washing machine, and tumble dryer, plus an additional shower room—bringing the total to four showers! The enclosed and sheltered garden, accessible via the utility room or master suite, is ideal for al fresco dining, garden games, or simply relaxing with a drink after a day at the beach or exploring North Cornwall.
Additional features include a hot outdoor shower, a wetsuit drying rail, and a storage area for surfboards. There is private off-road parking for 2–3 cars, allowing you to park up and enjoy your stay without needing to drive.
Modern comforts abound, with underfloor heating and Wi-Fi throughout the house. With so much to see and do in the area, Surf Break is the perfect base for a Cornish adventure.
Explore the charming town of Wadebridge and its surroundings—hire a bike and cycle the Camel Trail! A short drive in either direction brings you to the picturesque fishing ports of Port Isaac and Padstow, both known for their quaint streets, gourmet restaurants, and stunning views.
Further afield, the vibrant coastal town of Newquay offers surfing, golden beaches, and a bustling town centre filled with shops, cafés, and nightlife. Other nearby gems include Boscastle, Tintagel, Harlyn, Trevone, and Bodmin—with its cycling trails, historic jail, and wild moors. There truly is something for everyone.

Lovely, comfortable house.
Loads of space. Very comfy beds and quality bedding. Super new kitchen. Great location with 5 min walk to beach and bars etc.
Wow!
From the minute we walked in we were delighted by this immaculately clean, spacious and light filled house. It had everything we needed for our weeks stay with 6 adults ranging from 20 yo to 60 yo. Brilliant beds and bathrooms. Wonderful homely lounge and spacious kitchen for cooking family meals. The BBQ area was lovely but unfortunately it was a bit chilly in the evenings so we make use of it. The warm outside shower was a godsend after surfing. We have stayed in Polzeath in numerous places over many years and hands down this has been our favourite. The brilliant quick walk down to the heart of Polzeath via the path between the house and the Valley Caravan Park. So easy to reach the beach and shops and cafes. The Oystercatcher pub and restaurant is a 5 min walk away, lovely food and local beers. And within 10 mins you can be on the coastal path either to Pentire point and beyond or to Daymer Bay, Rock and ferry to Padstow. We will definitely be back!
Delightful bright and spacious property.
Lovely size back garden which enjoys lots of sunshine. Wonderfully close down a track to the main polzeath beach and few shops. To the owner….. would recommend a hook for the back door leading on to balcony to hold door open. Also replacing all saucepans with stainless steel pans as the present ones are badly scratched non-stick. Our stay was very enjoyable as the location of the property meant we could leave car in drive and walk to the beach or to Rock etc. . We also had lots of sunshine which is brilliant for a family holiday.
