On arrival, you can’t help but be impressed by both the size of Trestar and its lovely front garden.
Built into the side of a hill and spread over three levels, you effectively enter the holiday home on the ground floor, walking from the hallway up a few steps to the upper ground floor into the main hub of the house, the open-plan country-cottage style kitchen and dining room, with a separate inviting sitting room.
Pause here and enjoy a much-needed cuppa, whilst admiring the breath-taking rural views over the rolling Cornish countryside from the elevated position.
Conveniently, on the ground floor are three of the four bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a cloakroom, meaning retiring to bed after a busy day exploring couldn’t be easier!
Whilst spending your whole holiday in the confines of the amazing property might seem appealing, there are a wealth of activities and beauty spots to be enjoyed just moments from your door.
Head down a few minutes walk to Polzeath and try your hand at surfing, or visit one of many other bays in the area accessible on foot via the coastal paths, or via a short car journey.
For instance, Daymer Bay is just a little drive away, providing a safe sandy beach where children can spend hours building sandcastles and rock pooling.
A short drive takes you to the thriving village of Rock on the Camel Estuary – another unmissable destination on this stretch of coastline.
Whether you plan to spend action-packed hours wandering the coast paths, or laid-back beach days soaking up the sunshine and sea air in this beautiful area, Trestar offers superb family and pet-friendly accommodation in a wonderful seaside location.

Property in need of some TLC, beautiful house and facilities.
Just back from a fantastic week at Trestar.
We were a family of 8 and there was more than enough space for all. The house is very close to the beach at Polzeath (just down the lane through the trees) and also Greenaway (just down the lane next to St Moritz). The property was very well furnished, with comfy sofas, very well equipped kitchen and secure garden for the dog. A great holiday home. We will be back next year!
We enjoyed our family stay, house was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
In a great location. Our only criticism was the shower room downstairs you were unable to reduce the temperature and it was very hot so difficult to use, especially for children. Recycling was not well explained and we had nowhere to leave the glass bottles. Both bins said no glass, we eventually left them outside the bin in a black sack. This how ever did not effect our overall enjoyment of our stay. The weather was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the lovely garden
