The property

Little Belz is a light and airy detached bungalow situated in an elevated position above Polzeath. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac the holiday house offers wonderful sea views of the North Cornwall coast from its principle rooms. A footpath runs down to the busy surf hub of Polzeath and all its amenities, sweeping golden sands and pounding surf. The property can sleep 6-7 guests in three bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. There is a good sized rear garden, ample parking and use of the garage for storing all your surfboards and beach toys. A sunny balcony is an idyllic spot for a morning coffee and ideal for checking the sea and weather conditions.Little Belz benefits from an attractive lounge on the first floor leading out onto the balcony via patio doors. Downstairs is a lovely practical kitchen then the three bedrooms, one with a king size bed and two with twin beds. The rear garden benefits from a large decked area, perfect for alfresco dining as the sun sets.Polzeath is a wonderful location for your holiday, be it for surfers, beach combers or walkers. The glorious coastal paths can take you to the gentle, calm waters of Daymer Bay and on towards the sailing hub of the Camel Estuary at Rock. Alternately you can head high up towards the National Trust reserves of Pentire point and the Rumps, looking out for those wonderful words from the war poet Laurence Binyon, where in 1914 he wrote For the Fallen. Sightings of cormorants, gannets, and seals are common and the lucky few may spot a porpoise or dolphin. Accommodation: Upstairs Sitting Room with patio doors to Balcony Kitchen/Diner Separate W.C. About the location

Wadebridge 7.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
