“Really enjoyed staying at this property great location and really comfortable bed.”

Slight attention to detail is needed though Cups were still dirty and had been put back in the cupboard the carpets in the living room had some stains on them near the rug, maybe the sofas could have some covers put on them as they’re leather and you do stick to them! And also there were two lightbulbs that were not working in the kitchen. The fridge maybe could be renewed too as there was some leakage there. At first I was disappointed with the lack of internet but great decision really as holidays are meant to be for exploring not social media scrolling Basic but for all intents and purposes I would definitely come back

“I found the flat really comfortable and well maintained and the kitchen had everything you could possibly want for self-catering which was great.”

My main comment would be the same as previous tenants and that is the absence of WiFi, in 2023 that is an easily solved negative against the property. The only other little niggles were that bbc1 didn't work on the TV, the dvd player is quite old and glitches a lot, the shower head worked ok but leaked and the fact that the heat alarm was directly above the oven. If you used the grill it went off pretty much every time, it just needs moving a few feet towards the wall where the bin is the prevent that. All in all though my kids and I enjoyed staying in the flat and would happily stay in it again.

Beautiful views. Returned here for our 3rd year. Noticed and appreciated all the new appliances. I think the mattresses in the twin room are now due to be replaced as sink in the middle also would be lovely to have WiFi. That said would return again. Mr.Mrs Baglin

“We had a fantastic holiday here, such a lovely position with amazing views and so quiet.”

It is perfect for getting to the beach and to all the facilities that Polzeath has to offer. The flat has everything you would need and though quite basic, it was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Would have liked a designated outside area to sit in sheltered from the wind. As the weather was warm really missed a balcony or small garden area.

“My wife and I have used this property a number of times before.”

We have had holidays in Polzeath for about 40years. The apartment is ideal with a very pleasant walk to the beach and to the shops . It is adequately furnished and very comfortable. A number of the windows do not close properly but it did not worry us unduly as the weather during our stay was relatively mild for October. We shall certainly hope to use the apartment again .

Polzeath Court 4 is a first floor south facing property in Polzeath Court, a small group of apartments at New Polzeath on the North Cornwall coast. Set within a tranquil, rural area backing onto National Trust land, the property can sleep 4 guests in 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom, and is ideal for a family. Situated only 500m from Polzeath's Blue Flag beach and the National Trust footpaths, this first floor apartment offers an ideal base from which to enjoy the natural attractions in the area of outstanding natural beauty. Ample parking is also available here.There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, plus a bright bathroom with an overhead shower. A modern kitchen opens onto the lounge and dining room. Guests could easily pack up a picnic and gather up beach paraphernalia, a surfboard or two and then stroll down to the beach. Watching the family or friends enjoying the surf, rock pooling and beach combing on the huge golden sands could easily fill your days before returning to relax in a quiet corner of the large shared sunny gardens at Polzeath Court. The National Trust countryside also surrounds and the coastal paths offer magnificent views and glimpses of bird and marine wildlife are often seen from the cliff tops.Polzeath has plenty of shops to fulfill your everyday needs and hot pasties and fish and chips for when your all worn out from the Cornish surf and fresh air. You can settle down in one of the cafes or restaurants here too, and watch the hustle and bustle of village life. If you're planning a meal out further afield then you could drive round to the charming fishing harbour of Port Isaac to Nathan Outlaw, or take the ferry from nearby Rock and dine at Rick Stein’s in Padstow, yet another pretty harbour side spot. Wadebridge with its independent shops, leisure centre, supermarkets and cinema is only a 6-mile drive inland. POLZEATH

Wadebridge 7.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
