“Very clean and well equipped accommodation.”
Comfortable beds and newly furnished. We think that the accommodation is on the small side for a growing family of 4. Whilst the lounge is nicely decorated, it's not that comfortable as the sofas are small and hard. Be really nice if a soft sofa was in there. Garden is impractical for children and the BBQ is not suitable so didn't use all week. The biggest issue by far is the parking space. We have a VW Golf and we could not fit it in. Whilst it's appreciated that the dimensions are on the sales details, the fact that there is a concrete wall either side really limits getting into the space. With this I've had to spend £70 on parking at the main car park at the top of the hill. A huge inconvenience especially when I thought I was booking a property with parking. With this I would not use the property again or recommend to our friends and family either. The parking is insufficient and I feel miss sold on this point which is a shame. We had a good week in Cornwall using this property as a base but it's not a dwelling
to kick back and relax in due to some issues noted. Regards Richard.
Hello Richard,
Thank you so much for your feedback, we have only just started letting our home so really appreciate it.
I'm sorry you struggled to park your car, we do understand that it is tight which is why we put the dimensions on the website and the other parking options that are close by. I park my XTrail in the space but I'm obviously used to it and we know not everybody would be comfortable trying to do so.
We've tried to make sure the pictures give you a good overall view of the cottage but we will have a look and see if we can take some more detailed pictures of the parking to help make it clearer for future guests. Once again we are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. We really hope you enjoyed your time in Port Isaac and we wish you all the very best.
Kind regards,
Louise. Property Owner
