Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by these issues. Your comments have been passed on to the team here at John Bray Cornish Holidays. We are afraid that whilst the garden is fenced off, we can never guarantee a garden is 100% enclosed and we cannot control other people’s dogs. But we understand the upset. Our properties are self catering but some starter provisions should have been left for you so again, this has been raised to the team. We hope you still managed to enjoy your visit despite these issues and would love to welcome you back to North Cornwall in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Designed with flair and using quality fixtures and fittings, it has the advantage of a private parking space and an enclosed patio garden. The property is colourfully presented with lovely vaulted ceilings in the open pan living room/kitchen and in the master bedroom with superking-size bed. It sleeps 3 - 4 guests in two bedrooms (one pull out single bed available upon request in the single bedroom),with 1 shower room, making it ideal for a small family. The Folly is located just a five-minute walk of the old village of Port Isaac on the North Cornwall coast, with its 18th and 19th century fisherman’s cottages, shops, cafes, restaurants and a pub. The Folly has an attractive patio garden, bordered by mature plants with classic Cornish palms making an ideal spot for the family to relax and enjoy al fresco meals after busy days spent on the harbour-side or nearby beaches. You can glimpse the sea and rugged coastline from the light and airy main bedroom and the pretty white ground floor bedroom offers one single bed (one pull out single bed also available upon request in the single bedroom). There is a bright contemporary shower room and an open plan living room/kitchen with sliding doors leading out onto the terrace area. Port Isaac is a vibrant, picturesque village with narrow winding streets lined with whitewashed cottages that lead you down to the harbour. Arm yourself with a pasty and a pint or indeed a glass of wine and a delicious meal in one of the many fine dining establishments to be found here. Adventurous types can take kayaks out of the harbour and round under the dramatic cliffs to neighbouring Port Quin or Port Gaverne. The nearby towns of Wadebridge and Camelford are both about 20 minutes away, with all the usual town amenities you may need. Surfers may like to drive up the coast to Trebarwith Strand to seek out some waves or about 8 miles away or in the other direction to Polzeath, which is just over 6 miles away. About the location

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
