Lovely flat.
Plenty of space and big kitchen. Perfect spot. Lovely bathroom and big shower which drains perfectly. Everything you could need whilst away. My only niggle was the bed creaked as soon as you got in it. And the outside of the property is a little shabby. Wasn’t sure I got the right place. Makes you worry what’s inside when the actual flat was beautiful. Gives a low first impression. Will definitely stay again and would recommend.
Perfectly positioned in the centre of Padstow with easy access to bars, restaurants and shops.
The bed is small, we much prefer a king size, was very creaky and not very comfortable. The shower is nice and powerful, however, the water doesn’t drain well, so on the first day, we ended up with water all over the bathroom floor. We saw the cleaners that morning and reported it to them. They were very helpful and replaced the wet towels we’d had to use to mop up. We made sure we didn’t flood again by reducing the shower flow and turning off part way through to allow drainage, thus not maximising enjoyment of the powerful shower. Kitchen has all facilities needed. Good to have access to Netflix
Obby oss was fine for a base to explore Padstow.
It had all the basics you need and was comfortable and clean with a super comfy bed. Unfortunately we quickly found out the shower was blocked and we didn’t have the tools to unblock it. We reported this on Saturday, and the problem was finally fixed on the Tuesday. There was one black bin right outside the front door but this was padlocked, which meant there was nowhere to put rubbish apart from keeping it in the flat or walking to public bins. It would have been nice if we had been given instructions/welcome pack for the property. As stated in the listing there is no parking so unloading is a nightmare. There is a car park a quarter of a mile away which charges £60 for a week. There are 30 minute loading bays directly outside the property but these were mostly taken up by disabled badge holders for hours at a time.
