Beautiful house in an amazing location.

The views were fantastic. House was well equipped and comfortable. Caretaking should be improved on as garden and furniture in garden could do with being swept and tables cleaned. Attention to detail of cleaning needs improving as lots of dust under beds and surfaces. Overall owners have a lovely property in a perfect location and we would definitely visit again.

! All great apart from the two smaller bedrooms with very little wardrobe or drawer space . The fourth bedroom is really a box room only suitable for little children.. my 6 foot 4 son struggled with the bed! However otherwise the house was great

Exceptionally quiet location whilst also being close to the buzz of the harbourside!

We'd recommend Rojanos and Rick Stein's takeaway. Neither cheap but, hey, this is Padstow! Rock didn't really rock, sorry to say. Loved the Camel trail. We did it on foot but hire a bike if you're keen. Park for free at Carbis Bay and take the train to St Ives. Once there, Porthmeon Cafe is a wonderfully reliable eatery with to-die-for beach front location. Eden Project is very pricey but an enjoyable 'one off'! 'Tides' was well equipped and a

Lovely house with great attention to detail on the decoration and amenities.

The views were fabulous. The outdoor shower was perfect for washing wetsuits. Location is a 5 minute walk from Padstow town centre yet a very quiet spot. We would love to return

Fabulous property - everything is thought of, clearly explained and labelled and very well maintained.

Great location with easy parking - short walk down to the harbour plus a nice route directly down to the camel trail too. We’ll definitely be back!

Owners extremely helpful. Accommodation was of the highest standards with every amenity you would need. It may or may not be, an important statement to make in the description of the accommodation that the superb looking bathroom suite in bedroom 1, which May fine for modern day families- for me (and my wife of a certain generation) proved difficult to use at certain times! A fabulous holiday even in the wet. Highly recommend

The house was perfect, well equipped with everything needed for a stay.

The welcome pack was a nice touch. Very close to the town centre and plenty of places to choose from if eating out.

Fantastic facilities and views.

Well maintained and the welcome box is a thoughtful addition. We would however have liked a change to the towels at the end of the first week. We were also unable to locate the bags for the laundry.

Tides is an immaculate property with some great features and the owners added several welcoming touches that were much appreciated.

Wonderful views and excellent location. We had a lovely week. The only comment would be that the sloping roof in the en-suite bathroom proved a little tricky! We totally understand the reason for it but perhaps if it’s mentioned in the house description then tall people are prepared!

One of the best holiday homes in Cornwall we have stayed in.

It was fully equipped with absolutely everything we needed. The house was clean and we had plenty of room being a family of 6. The location was perfect to walk into padstow and had ample parking. We will definitely be back.

Tides is a lovely property.

It’s clean, spacious, very modern and comfortable. The house is situated on a very quiet street but is only a few minutes walk to the harbour and some of Padstow’s best restaurants. The owners contacted us via email and are quick to try to solve any minor problems or queries. The welcome pack is generous. Just remember to bring paper if you’d like to play the various board games provided. I found it surprisingly difficult to locate a sketch pad in Padstow! We’d definitely recommend Tides and hope to return soon.

We loved the tasteful, modern furniture and decor, the well equipped kitchen, sunny outdoor space and stunning views.

Tides was a pleasure to be in and the quiet yet convenient location couldn’t be better. Our hosts were very welcoming and responsive, fixing a minor problem we had very quickly and effectively. We highly recommend this property.

This was our second stay at Tides and we were not disappointed.

The property is presented beautifully clean and as described. We soon felt at home again and enjoyed the sitting on the front patio watching the boats and the ferry cross the estuary to the Rock. The parking was a blessing. The only small niggle was the fact that the louvered windows did not have black our blinds, this would be particularly appreciated in the summer months when the days are much longer. Apart from that it is a super property to enjoy Padstow and the surrounding area.

This is the best equipped holiday home that we have ever visited in 40 years!

The house has all the necessities and comforts. Good view from the front windows of the estuary. This was our second time staying at Tides and haven’t been disappointed.

This property is so perfectly positioned for exploring Padstow.

Booking was straightforward and emails in the run up to the holiday useful.

Tides is in a great spot with lovely views of Rock and the estuary. We very much enjoyed the view from the snug room and the outdoor sofa and chairs in the front garden. It is only a few minutes walk into Padstow (though hilly of course). Off road parking was a real benefit too, as the residential road does get busy with parked cars. The house is light, modern and tastefully decorated, and very well equipped. The welcome basket and pint of milk were a lovely surprise, and we appreciated the new washing up sponge, tea towels, dish washer tablets, disinfectant wipes and plenty of liquid soaps, especially in this Covid period. We had a minor question during our stay and were able to email the owners and got a very quick reply. It’s a lovely house and it’s clear the owners take great pride in it and want their guests to enjoy their stay.

What a beautiful property. It felt like home from the second we walked through the door. We could not fault one thing about this fabulous house. The location is perfect. The very generous welcome basket was a lovely touch, thank you so much to the owners for that. We will definitely book Tides again.

The property was in a great location and in a very quiet area too as well as just 5 mins walk into Padstow.

It had everything we needed including views across the bay. I spent most mornings with my drink and a book taking in the view in the small additional snug room before everyone else was up. This house had everything we needed and has been renovated to a high standard. We loved it and will definitely we back again.

The Tides was a wonderful cottage.

It was comfortable and easily accommodated six of us. It was obvious that the owners took great care with their renovations and have every right to be very proud of what they accomplished. Easy walk to the Padstow harbor, sites and restaurants as well as easy access to roads leading to our various excursions. We really enjoyed Cornwall and The Tides made the holiday even more special.
