“Little Sailing was perfect for our party of five.”

Lots of space, all necessary equipment, very comfortable beds, lovely outdoor space and a great location - easy to walk to Rock and the beach, ideal for the shops and a short drive to other beaches. Would happily rebook.

The property

Practical and attractively furnished, Little Sailing is a detached holiday bungalow in a quiet residential area just off the main thoroughfare of Rock. The village shops and services are just a short walk away and it's an easy stroll from here along the nearby footpath and across some fields to reach Porthilly Cove and Rock Beach. Guests will enjoy the pretty garden and sunny patio and appreciate the use of a garage; a good additional storage space for beach kit. Sleeping 6 people in 3 well-decorated bedrooms, pets are also welcome by arrangement. With private parking.Well-proportioned rooms give a sense of space; the sitting room feels particularly generous, with light flowing in through wide French windows. The farmhouse-style kitchen/dining room is very well-equipped with a lovely display of local pottery on the dresser; this is a cheerful, bright place to cook. Bedrooms feel fresh and calming; one has a kingsize bed; the other two are twin-bedded.A holiday in Rock provides a fabulous Cornish seaside experience. A very fashionable destination, it is no surprise that this part of North Cornwall is so popular. The landscape of azure seas, yellow sands and dark rugged cliffs are mesmerisingly beautiful. Walking with your dog and your family across the beaches with the views across the Camel estuary and out to sea are inspiring and uplifting; no wonder people return to holiday here year after year. Sailing and water-skiing are just a couple of the water sports available at Rock; check out the waves of Polzeath beach for great surfing and boogie-boarding. Daymer Bay is heavenly for children with gentle waters and soft sands. Accommodation: Sitting Room Dining Room Kitchen Cloakroom/Shower/Basin/W.C. Bathroom/W.C.
