“Overall a great property for a family holiday and one we would like to return to .”

We appreciated the outdoor table for eating. It was great to have the garage for beach stuff. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. All appliances worked . Every cupboard space in the kitchen is full of stuff. The crockery and cookware needs sorting out so there is not an excess of stuff that is unlikely to be used (eg decorative plates, bowls, sherry glasses and far too many pans). There is no space apart from the fridge for visitors to put food. The cleaning was not thorough and there was pet hair on the carpets plus dust and cobwebs and mould on the window frames. The kitchen tap did not work when we arrived which was inconvenient . We called John Bray and impressively a plumber was round to fix it within an hour.

Hi Ian, Im Ruth one of the owners of the property, and firstly wanted to say thank you for taking the time to give us some valuable feedback. I personally visit Little Sailing before the season starts and when it finishes to clean it myself along with the annual spring clean that Brays do in the winter months. Generally throughout the high season we get positive feedback on the cleanliness of the property and I’m sorry that on your visit you found this not to be the case. I’ve spoken to Brays to discuss this feedback as I understand how important this is. If you do decide to visit again as you have indicated and you find any issues with house keeping please give John Bray’s a call and they will arrange a re clean for you. I did take on board the feedback about lack of cupboard space for food and when I was down in April I ensured that a cupboard was empty to allow for food storage. I guess customers move things around to suit their preferences and this has caused the issue. I do accept that we can consolidate and remove some of the kitchen items which I will do when I’m there in September. It’s a balance I try to work on as I want guests to have enough kitchen items. I’m pleased you overall enjoyed your stay and would consider visiting again. Property Owner

With private parking.Well-proportioned rooms give a sense of space; the sitting room feels particularly generous, with light flowing in through wide French windows.

The farmhouse-style kitchen/dining room is very well-equipped with a lovely display of local pottery on the dresser; this is a cheerful, bright place to cook.

Bedrooms feel fresh and calming; one has a kingsize bed; the other two are twin-bedded.A holiday in Rock provides a fabulous Cornish seaside experience.

A very fashionable destination, it is no surprise that this part of North Cornwall is so popular.

The landscape of azure seas, yellow sands and dark rugged cliffs are mesmerisingly beautiful.

Walking with your dog and your family across the beaches with the views across the Camel estuary and out to sea are inspiring and uplifting; no wonder people return to holiday here year after year.
