    “There were mice in the pantry.”

    This had obviously been a problem before as the hole had been blocked up. They are various items of food and everything else has to be thrown away as we did not know what they had contaminated. We contacted John Bray but nobody came out to deal with it. The kitchen is really small so for 8 people it became an issue as there was no available storage space. John Bray offered our £25 deposit back after weeks of chasing but this didn’t cover the cost of the food let alone various members of our ...

    'As the owner of Pencreek I must apologise profusely for your unwelcome visitor in the pantry and trust that the increased offer of compensation from John Bray will cover the cost of the food that took his fancy. Unfortunately there has to be a ventilation grill for air circulation in the cupboard and this was probably his way in. I am so sorry if it spoilt your stay but trust that some good weather and the beautiful Cornish scenery made up for it.' Property Owner

Pencreek is a homely, detached bungalow with a recent new kitchen and lawned gardens to the front and rear, conveniently located in the centre of the popular North Cornwall town of Rock. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
