“We entered into the cottage that smelled damp and musty, it was cold and without hot water.”
...We managed to put the hot water on and heating, sadly the welcome book was hidden away, so it was done by guess work.
We finally found the welcome book which is old and out of date, with pages are falling apart.
We enjoy cooking which in this kitchen is limited, as the equipment is lacking and old.The bread board was mouldy along with a wooden spoon in the draw. I believe that the cottage hadn't been used for a while, there was a snail trail on the sitting room floor and dead bugs on the stairs, clearly the place had not been checked prior to our arrival.
The bedding is old and has mould stains, the towels felt damp and one had stains and hairs in it.
The bath needs replacing as this one is extremely old.
The toilet seat upstairs is broken and many of the towel holders are falling off the wall.
We tried to clean but the hoover isn't capable of sucking up.
We have left 6 new plates in the house as four is a bit tight.
There are no serving bowls.
Why say you have a PS2 when you have no games?
We have stayed in many places within Port Isaac, this one needs some TLC.
I am sorry to write this, but we paid good money to stay, the things that need doing are not expensive but will improve the stay for your guests.
