Dogs are welcome, and parking is available, adding to the ease of a coastal stay.

From the moment you step through either entrance, the care taken with this house is immediately clear.

Each room has been carefully updated with chic finishes that sit beautifully alongside the property’s period proportions.

On the ground floor, a well-planned kitchen provides a sociable space for preparing meals and gathering together, while the separate sitting room offers a calm retreat in the evenings, centred around a woodburning stove that brings a gentle glow after days spent exploring the coast and village lanes, there is also a dining table with seating for 8 guests.

The first floor is light and airy, with three tastefully decorated bedrooms that feel calm and inviting.

A king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower and a twin sit alongside a double bedroom.

On the top floor, a further twin bedroom completes the accommodation, tucked away beneath the eaves and ideal for younger guests or friends sharing.

One of Church Hill House’s standout features is its outdoor space.

Steps lead up to a private top terrace furnished for outdoor dining and long moments spent admiring the view.

From here, the outlook stretches across Port Isaac’s harbour and along the coastline beyond, with ever-changing seascapes and memorable sunsets providing a striking backdrop.

The terrace is a natural gathering place from afternoon through to evening.

About the location

PORT ISAAC

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions, including the beautiful Lundy Bay, known for being the filming location of the hugely popular Doc Martin series. You may be lucky enough to see the infamous Fisherman's Friends performing on the Platt during the summer months singing traditional shanties. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
