“We loved staying at the cottage.”

It is beautifully furnished, well equipped and provides a wonderful base for exploring this area of Cornwall. Wonderful walks on the coast and inland. Great restaurants in walking distance too. Port Isaac remains a gem of a place and staying at the cottage really added to the experience. A visitor book would be a nice touch to share guest suggestions.

The property

Crow's Nest is a fabulous bolt hole nestled in the quintessential Cornish seaside village of Port Isaac on the North Cornwall coast.

Superbly located, this self-catering holiday cottage is just a short walk away from the bustling harbour with restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops as well as many walks through the narrow streets and on the coast paths.

A luxury property, Crow's Nest has been refurbished to a very high standard with modern comforts throughout.

This harbourside property will sleep 4 guests in 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and has a paved garden and nearby private parking. This pretty Grade II listed, 19th Century whitewashed cottage nestling into the valley is deceptively spacious.

Once through the door, you will be wowed by the cool, contemporary interiors that have been sympathetically updated to provide the ultimate in modern comforts whilst retaining the best features and the character of a fisherman’s cottage.

Passing from the entrance lobby into the lounge you will immediately be struck by the sense of space and the stunning panorama over the village rooftops which stretches down to the harbour and out to sea.

The vibrant living area with its vaulted ceiling, is a stylish marriage of contemporary coastal living and Cornish cottage.

Generously furnished, here you can relax in comfort, taking in the stunning views, snuggling down by the wood burner or watching the smart TV. Decend the stairs to the middle floor where you are greeted by the two bedrooms, a double and a super king double/twin room, which have been decorated with calm colour palette, thick carpets and full curtains to create a relaxing home feel.

The kitchen diner is found on the ground floor and continues with the colourful modern vibe, enhanced by the feature Cornish stone wall and wood burner, all set off by a subtle lighting scheme.

The comprehensively equipped kitchen has all the appliances and equipment that you need to create gourmet meals with the freshest local ingredients.

There is access out onto the private courtyard garden, perfect for alfresco dining.

Here you can sit, relax and enjoy a book with the sounds of the coast as a background.

There are two bathrooms; a fully fitted wet room on the entrance floor off the lobby, and a second one on the ground floor with a luxurious free standing bath. Crow's Nest is positioned on Church Hill away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a minute’s walk from the harbour and the centre of the village.

Port Isaac is a picture perfect traditional fishing village known and loved for its whitewashed fishermans ottages found in the winding streets including the famous ‘Squeezy Belly Alley’, one of Britain’s narrowest thoroughfare’s that leads you down towards the busy working harbour.

Watch the daily catch arrive before purchasing a lobster for your evening meal or some fresh fish at a variety of excellent restaurants and cafés.

What’s more, there are plenty of local shops, boutiques and galleries as well as an abundance of stunning walks on and around the coastline.
