“We had a pleasant experience and enjoyed our time in Sea Horses cottage with our dogs.”
Here are a few things we wanted to mention:
We found the cottage to be cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. The lovely fireplace was a great addition and provided a cozy atmosphere for us to relax in the evenings.
However, we did encounter a few challenges during our stay. locating the cottage was a bit difficult as it situated at the end of the street so direction could say this. We followed the house numbers, but it took us some time to find the right place.
Additionally, we were unable to drive up to the cottage, to unload our stuff ( anything like Q7 size won't go there ).
We found the check-out time of 9:30 AM to be quite early, especially when considering the tasks involved before leaving. We needed to take the dogs for a walk, retrieve the car from car park, load it with our belongings, strip the beds and clean the cottage. This left us with no time for a morning coffee or breakfast.
Despite these minor inconveniences, we still had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the overall experience. Thank you for providing a cozy and clean cottage for us and our dogs to enjoy.

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles
Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions, including the beautiful Lundy Bay, known for being the filming location of the hugely popular Doc Martin series. You may be lucky enough to see the infamous Fisherman's Friends performing on the Platt during the summer months singing traditional shanties. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
