Sea Horses is a beautiful, period cottage and the owners’ pride and joy, set in an enviable position in the stunning village of Port Isaac, Cornwall.

The sitting area welcomes you in to snuggle up beside the fire on the plush sofas while you find a film on the Smart TV.
From here, the dining space offers seating for six family members or friends to indulge in a hearty, home-cooked meal.
Moving through the space, you’ll find the kitchen, home to a cooker where you can rustle up your meals, and that all-important dishwasher to help with the cleaning up.
In the warmer months, throw open the doors and let sea air in, or take your meals outside and make the most of the weather with an alfresco dinner.
Alternatively, pop outside to take in the sun at the multilevel garden, the perfect spot for admiring your surroundings while your four-legged friends stretch their legs.
Return to the cottage to freshen up before jumping into bed, with a bath and shower over giving you the option for a soak or spritz.
Choose from three beautifully-presented bedrooms including a king-size, a twin for flexibility, or a custom bunk which is popular with the children!

When you’re ready to branch out, a wealth of delightful experiences await in the rest of Cornwall too, such as the golden sandy beaches at Polzeath and Daymer Bay, though bear in mind Polzeath beach is dog-free from Easter to October!
For the avid walkers, you’ll find access to Port Quinn and The Rumps in one direction and Port Gaverne in the other, making for a serene day out with a packed lunch.
A plethora of opportunities await - Rock, which has a number of restaurants, not to mention the famous St. Enodoc Golf Club.
From Rock you can take the foot ferry across the estuary to a bustling Padstow, famous for it's wonderful fish restaurants, notably Rick Steins.
Wadebridge, Bodmin, Newquay and many more gorgeous towns and villages are all within reach by car.

The property was lovely.
The only things that let it down was the fact that when we booked the holiday it made our like the garden was attached to the property, it wasn’t. It was a good 20 metres away and it was not well tended. There were large weeds and the bbq had the remnants of left over bbqs.
We enjoyed our time in Port Isaac, and generally our stay at Seahorses.
The property is located in the centre and a short walk to everything…the hills in and around are very steep in Port Isaac so be aware of that if you are planning a visit, the 10 ish minute walk to the parking space of the property, or the 6 ish minute walk to the Co-Op are up some very steep inclines. The property itself is quaint and comes with most things you could require for a stay. The beds were clean and tidy but I have allergies and there were dog hairs on the sofa’s, cobwebs around the fireplace, and when we arrived - admittedly 45 mins early - and our daughter was desperate for the toilet, the cleaner was quite rude and bluntly directed her to the nearest public toilet (50p charge) and she is an 8 year old girl. We have quite a long car and could not get it close to the property as the entrance to Middle Street is so tight and in the day surrounded by holiday makers, thus we advise driving down the road opposite the Co-Op until the road gets too narrow to go further and unloading there, walking your possessions to the property. There were some bits that we tried to report such as a bedroom blind that wouldn’t go up, a pipe leaked shower water into the small courtyard garden, and the fact the freezer didn’t freeze anything, but the WhatsApp messages through to Sykes never led to anything which was disappointing. Also the advertised larger garden is a short walk away and not with the property. It does say words similar to that in the description but not clear enough for us really so we didn’t really use it. The views from the garden are great though and there are plenty of chairs. The smart TV was helpful for watching app based tv, and the shower was always warm and nice. Overall it’s a lovely little place, but just these little things brought the rating down for us.
This was our second stay at Sea Horses, and it really is the perfect location.
The house is nestled down near the harbour of Port Isaac and has everything we needed. Thank you so much x
