Drifters is a contemporary, detached holiday home with splendid views overlooking the tidal waters of the Camel Estuary and the countryside beyond in Cornwall.
Located just a stroll from Rock beach, its fine waterfront restaurants, and shops, as well as the many fantastic facilities and activities on offer on the North Cornwall coast, Drifters features ample parking, and a homely interior, possible to serve up to eight guests.
With the main living areas set on the first floor, nothing can detract from the spectacular sea views.
The sunny stone balcony is perfect for planning your day's adventures or enjoying a quiet moment with a coffee and the papers.
After an exhilarating day, relax in the pretty rear garden and enjoy supper on the private terrace, or kick back in the generous, open-plan living area, which includes a well-equipped kitchen and dining space, and plush living room with a woodburning stove and a separate TV room.
Three of the airy bedrooms are located on the ground floor including two en-suite double rooms, and a twin room, along with a family bathroom; the remaining twin bedroom is set on the first floor.
Drifters is conveniently located up the hill from the watersport hub at Rock, including the Rock Sailing Club, Water-ski Club and The Camel Ski School where you can practice sailing, paddle boarding, waterskiing, and kayaking on the sheltered waters of the Camel Estuary.
Catch the foot ferry over to Padstow for Rick Stein's fish and chips on the harbour or take a leisurely cycle on the Camel Trail to the nearest picturesque town of Wadebridge.
Walkers will adore the mile long stretch of beach that wraps around the coastline to Daymer Bay, a stunning sandy bathing beach ideal for younger children, whilst adrenalin junkies will want to head to nearby Polzeath, a blue flag beach and the surf capital of North Cornwall.

We have been staying as at Drifters now for many years and are due back for another two weeks in September.
Our constructive comments are as follows 1 The electrical circuit serving the power points in the main bedroom and the sun room above still keeps tripping. Luckily we know where the trip switch is and can sort it out but other guests may not be able to. Surely it is possible for a competent electrician to sort it out once and for all ? We wonder whether ithe proeprtry i has an up to date electrical test ? 2 The internet service provider was the worst we have ever known it and there were not many holiday makers in Rock to overload it. 3 The televisions are very old, particularly the one in the main living room and the picture is terrible. Please, it’s high time they were replaced. 4 Is it not possible please that Sky is connected? If the owners switched everything to Sky they would find that the ISP connection will be greatly improved. We have just moved house that’s exactly what we have done. 5 The pots and pans in the kitchen were new and very acceptable 6 The Visitors Information Book needs updating. I haven’t got chapter and verse for everything but Lewis’ Store closed at least three years ago and the butcher is now Philip Warren. 7 Would it be possible for two single arm chairs to replace one of the sofas in the living room? They are both very low and as we get older they are more and more difficult to get out of ! 8 the vacuum cleaner is past its sell by date. I:t is very heavy to lug up and down stairs and o[ne of our party damaged her shoulder moving it. I hope you find these comments constructive and that the owners can continue to invest in the house. We look forward to returning in September.
Both double beds were unmade and the cleaner had left items including a bag of duvets in the hall upon our arrival so we went to the office who dealt with it immediately.
We reported the faulty bath tap to the office however it wasn’t a big issue for us. When tidying before leaving we found very old hard satsuma peelings and a child’s game down the sofa cushion. These are not complaints just useful observations for future guests comfort. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Drifters, loved the property and location - would definitely recommend! Thank you
We were very pleased with the property and really enjoyed our stay.
The house was lovely with views over the estuary. It was clean and well equipped, with everything we needed (including some unexpectedly good weather for April!). Many thanks!
