Wonderful house in a superb location.

Very comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a fabulous stay.

Beautiful property and felt very comfortable and at home.

All of the beds were lovely to sleep in. Kitchen was well equipped we really enjoyed our time here.

A fantastic family house with great array of children’s games and Toddler toys.

We have been renting houses for over 10 years in Rock and this is top of the list so much so rebooked for October

What a fabulous week at Gull Rock House is amazing, such great sleeps in comfortable beds and so close to the beach for dog walks and popping to Mariners.

The photos do not do the house justice. It is spacious and well maintained and furnished. There are actually 3 bathrooms not 2 as stated in the listing which was a pleasant surprise. Great location. Highly recommend

Seems to be a drip coming from the waste pipes under the right hand sink in the master suite. Very well appointed and a fantastic week enjoyed at your property. Thank you.

We are very familiar with Rock and the Gull Rock development.

The house is truly amazing with every modern feature and comfort in a very central "walking distance" Rock location. We would highly recommend it.

A beautiful spacious property, well situated within Rock.

Althought the house is very well equipped with good quality items it did leave quite a bit to be desired. There were a number of maintenance issues for example, one of the ovens had a broken seal and leaked heat and condensation, many light bulbs within the property were out, a leak in the windows above the door in the hall caused an ingress of water which puddled on the floor during rain showers and the insinkerator would not work. There was no key or code for the boot room door meaning anyone returning from the beach had to access the property through either the front or rear door. Whilst the property was reasonably clean, the tiled floor in the ensuite was very grubby and the toilet leaked a little at the base. The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed with a sumptuous mattress topper and decent white cotton sheets. Unfortunately bodily fluid stains on the topper could be clearly seen through the bottom sheet. There were areas of the property that did not appear to have been thorougly cleaned in a while for example there were large accumulations of dust, dander and debris trapped in and around the glass balustrade. Our daughter found silver fish in her room, possibly as a result of damp wood of which the house has a lot. We were surprised at the lack of cleaning materials available for example a suitably safe cleaner for the granite work tops and no dust pan to use with the brush when sweeping sand from the utility areas. Only one black bin bag for general waste was provided and no suitable recycling bags were available. With a property of this size and cost we expect simple cleaning products and bin bags to be provided. Only one key is provided at the property and the external doors automatically lock when they are closed. This caused great paranoia everytime we left the house. This property has the potential to be amazing but a general lack of care and maintenance is taking the edge off it at the moment. I am guessing it is being looked after by a maintenance company and the owner needs to be aware that the standards are not great. We did not report the maintenance issues during our stay as we did not wish to have the inconvenience of workmen in the house.

We had the most wonderful stay in Gull Rock 4 with our children and their partners.

We have been holidaying in Rock for 30 years and admired the Gull Rock Development when it was built 20 years ago. It had always been a dream of ours to stay in one of the properties and finally that has come true. The property is beautiful, so calm and relaxing. Very well equipped for cooking and entertaining at the house. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Super comfy beds, great social space, lovely secure garden. Would highly recommend this property.

A really lovely house with fabulous views.

I was also impressed that the kitchen is really well equipped for people who want to cook. I would love to go back next year!

The wi fi code in the Sykes e-mail is wrong and also in the house document.

After a long time of searching this was found in a small piece of paper out of sight in a corner of the kitchen. We had to leave a day early as the high wind rattled the roof making sleep difficult. There are 3 keys , not one. It's difficult to open the key box . After repeated attempts we had to ask a neighbouring workman to help and when successful he said he had no idea how he did this ! There is no info on how the house works, such as the lighting and heating etc. Asking guests to vacate by 09.30 is far too early bearing in mind the next guests are not permitted to arrive 6 and a half hours later. Altogether rather disappointing,
