The property

Slipway 16 is a mid terrace holiday cottage enjoying superb estuary views from its reverse level open plan sitting room and sunny balcony. The self catering cottage is ideally suited to a beach loving family; it will sleep 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms with one parking space. The proximity to the beach and waterfront is fantastic and there is a cluster of beach and fashion shops, cafes and bar/restaurants all within an easy stroll. There are many more beaches nearby with popular Polzeath and Daymer bay being less than a five-minute drive away. Slipway 16 has a courtyard patio above the garage so there's outside space to dry wetsuits or to leave buggies or surfboards. The ground floor has a bathroom and a shower room plus a useful utility room. A double bedroom and a twin bedded room are also on this level; the top of the stairs has a stair gate. The main living space is on the first floor where views across the estuary and across to the fields stretch between St George's Well to Hawker's cove. There's a bright, white fitted kitchen and the third bedroom with 3ft bunk beds.The sunny balcony is ideal for early evening drinks, or you could pop down the road for a drink and a meal at the Mariners pub. For an enjoyable night out book a restaurant in Padstow if you can chose between the celebrity chef Rick Stein's trio of eateries or Paul Ainsworth's! There is a huge choice of food on both sides of the water with the passenger ferry by day or the water taxi by night leaving you free to indulge in Cornish Ales or Camel valley wines without having to worry about driving home!Ground Floor: W.C. with Shower Bedroom 1: Superking Bed Bedroom 2: Twin Beds Bathroom/Shower/W.C. The Slipway properties are all located at the bottom of Rock, on the other side of the road from the Rock Sailing club slipway.  There are three terrace rows of houses that alll have South facing aspects and balconies and offer a perfect spot to have family groups rent multiple properties so each family can be in the same place as their friends but also have some space and time to themselves..

Padstow 1.5 miles via ferry; Polzeath 2.8 miles; Wadebridge 6.2 miles.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
