“We had a wonderful time in Slipway 7, 9 years after our first trip.”

It's just such an incredible location & worth the rent solely for the excellent parking space!! It's balcony is stunning, the house is basic but I like that, if it was all pristine I'd be hoovering up sand all week & polishing to keep it all looking beautiful, this house just lets you enjoy it! Thank you so much!

Slipway & Anchorage

The Slipway properties are all located at the bottom of Rock, on the other side of the road from the Rock Sailing club slipway. There are three terrace rows of houses that alll have South facing aspects and balconies and offer a perfect spot to have family groups rent multiple properties so each family can be in the same place as their friends but also have some space and time to themselves..

The property

Slipway 7 is a popular, south-facing end of terrace holiday cottage enjoying a convenient location just yards from Rock beach, the Rock Sailing and Waterski Club and The Mariners pub (now run by Paul Ainsworth). Lovely views of the Camel estuary and Padstow can be appreciated whilst sitting outside on the large sunny balcony. Sleeping up to 7 people in 4 bedrooms, Slipway 7 is a cosy self catering holiday bolthole, perfect for families who will love the proximity to the waterfront and all the varied activities on offer. The apartment comes with private parking. The living area on the first floor is open plan, with a newly refurbished kitchen; the high ceiling and wide windows makes the room feel light and bright; add to this sense of space by opening the French windows onto the balcony on a warm day. On the ground floor a bedroom with a kingsize bed and a bunk room share a small shower room next to a useful utility area; good for storing sandy boots or damp wetsuits. On the second floor a single room and a twin room share a bathroom with overhead shower.Staying at one of the Slipway cottages enables a really relaxing holiday, being so close to the waterfront with its shops, convenient, high quality places to eat and drink and of course the Camel Ski and Sailing School. Stride out from your front door to explore the sand dunes in between the estuary and the fairways of St Enodoc Golf course; a lovely place to go for a walk with beautiful views across the estuary to Stepper Point and out to sea beyond. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
