Settle down to enjoy a satisfying meal in the glow of the central woodburning stove and discuss plans for the days ahead. After your meal, retire to the generous corner sofa where you can catch up on your favourite TV series courtesy of the large Smart TV. Completing the ground-floor is a utility room with tumble dryer and washing machine, perfect for popping sandy clothes on a spin after a day at the beach. As your eyes grow heavy, retreat to the first-floor where you will find three beautifully decorated rooms, including a king-size with Smart TV, en-suite shower room and balcony, ideal for those looking for a peaceful moment, a king-size with a Smart TV and a twin, ensuring ample sleeping arrangements for all. Take your pick of gloriously sandy nearby beaches, with the villages of Rock and Polzeath both offering uninterrupted sands, perfect for soaking up the sun, beachcombing the shores or trying your hand at the local’s favourite activity, surfing at Polzeath. Rock also offers sailing and water skiing along the River Camel which is sure to tempt any thrill seekers within your party. Venture to nearby Port Quin, where you will find the impressive Doyden Castle which can be seen from the coastal path, a small 19th-century castle-style house which looks out over the sea. From Port Quin you can embark on a guided canoe or kayaking tour and explore the magnificent surrounding waters of the coast. Directly opposite Rock is the popular town of Padstow where you can travel to via the foot ferry from Rock slipway and is home to the National Lobster Hatchery, where you can even adopt your own hatchling. We had a lovely week staying at Pentire.

The house itself is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Super stylish and perfect for a family holiday. Fully enclosed garden perfect for our dog and the use of the EV charger was a massive help. The location is great for exploring North Cornwall and within stumbling distance of a really friendly local pub. We would highly recommend and would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Pentire.

The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped with so many places to visit nearby. The welcome bag of goodies was very much appreciated and the secure garden was a bonus as we had our dog with us. We would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to family & friends.
