The open-plan living area on the ground floor has been beautifully decorated with artful interior touches to provide style and sophistication while instantly making you feel at home. Here, you can make the most of the modern, integrated appliances and use the delectable local produce to cook up a feast and toast to your getaway at the table. When replete, unwind in front of the Smart TV in the sitting area and have the home comfort of being able to log in to your own Netflix account for an evening of boxsets. Upstairs, head to the shower room to wash off the day before stepping across to the calming, tastefully decorated bedroom. With plenty of built in storage, you can pack all your travel clothes away and switch off, relaxing in the king-size bed and recharge, ready for your adventures the next day. Families with a baby can pack lighter than usual by hiring nursery equipment from a local company and make precious memories on holiday together, there is space in the main bedroom for a cot. Downstairs, a third and fourth guest can be accommodated on the 4'6 sofa bed which linen will be available for at the house, it will be set as a sofa for your arrival but you can unfold this when required. In the mornings, why not plan another exciting day with your loved one while enjoying breakfast outside in your own garden? Just around the end of the barns is a set of steps where you can access your own lawn area, perfect for sitting back and capturing the rays as it enjoys the sunshine for most of the day when the weather is fine. It also escapes much of the fresh breeze as it is sunken down from path, making it more sheltered.
When exploring the area, you'll only have to drive a short way to access the surfing waves of Polzeath beach. Grab your wetsuit, hire a board and paddle out into the water together. If you prefer your feet on dry land, trek north out from the beach to spot rare birds at Pentire Point and the Rumps or to the south you will find the coastal path looping round via Greenaway to the Daymer Bay. Here, you can climb Brea Hill for the best views of the estuary, paddle the gentle shores or for the adventurous, windsurf. The local seaside village of Rock offers the sands of Rock Beach, the chance to learn about regional artists at the Rock Road Gallery, and the glorious temptation to enjoy a hearty meal at The Mariners Public House. For those with a historical interest, continue travelling along the coast via the Doc-Martin-famed village of Port Isaac to Tintagel, where you can learn about local King Arthur stories at Tintagel Castle. Cycling enthusiasts can hop on the foot ferry to Padstow and hire a bike to join the Camel Trail which follows the old railway along the estuary and features some beautiful scenery. After an exhilarating day, why not have a night off the kitchen and pick up fish and chips from Rock to take back to your Cornish home. Perched along the scenic Cornish Coast is the delightful and quaint civil parish of St Minver. Offering its visitors a beautiful church which boasts superb views of the surrounding countryside, a welcoming pub where you can treat yourself to a delicious pub lunch and a well-deserved pint, a Post Office and a well-stocked convenience store for purchasing any essentials. St Minver is the perfect tourist base for exploring Cornwall, with easy access to the stunning beaches of Rock and the surfer's paradise of Polzaeath. Venture over to the coastal village of Rock, where you can take to the waters by waterski or sailing, or enjoy a boat tour as you spot the local marine life of dolphins which frequent the shores. Polzeath is the ideal setting for trying your hand at surfing with its nearby Surf School, or if you'd prefer to sit the action out, the glorious sands are perfect for soaking up the sun with a good book.
The lawn garden is currently accessed by walking around the side of the building (out the front door and turn left) then down a set of steep steps which doesn't have a handrail. The owners of The Snug do have plans to install patio doors out to the garden in the winter of 2022/2023, for future information.
