Channel View House is an incredible holiday home located near to the
charming town of Wadebridge in North Cornwall. This amazing house sleeps eight in four beautifully presented bedrooms (all en-suite), and boasts ample amenities to make it a perfect base for families and friends seeking some time away. Walk into your new home away from home and marvel at the stunning furnishing and tasteful decor. There are large windows which flood the space with a sea of natural light. Fix yourself a drink at the bar and sink into one of the plush sofas as you warm up, through underfloor heating and the electric fire and either read a book or watch something on the Smart TV. If you want some quiet time, sneak away to the snug and enjoy the same activities in a more intimate environment. When you are hungry, head to the sleek kitchen to whip up a delicious meal, or visit the lovely quiet country pub, The Quarryman, which is located next door. As the evening winds down, retreat to one of the four exquisitely decorated bedrooms, each boasting their own en-suite.for added convenience and catch your rest to prepare for a day full of adventures. Explore the surroundings and head along the Camel Trail, accessed via the lane which runs alongside the house. The trail follows the River Camel, to the lovely towns of Wadebridge or Padstow. Both towns offer an enormous variety of delightful shops and restaurants that cater for all culinary tastes. You will also find ample options if you wish to try a dish at one of Rick Stein's restaurants, or you might like to try the tasting menu at the Caffe Rojano by Paul Ainsworth. From Padstow take the short ferry to Rock where you might be tempted to take refreshments at The Mariners, a popular place, often frequented by local celebrities. Channel View House is within easy reach of some of the best beaches in Cornwall, including Harlyn, Constantine Bay and Polzeath, all excellent for swimming or surfing. For those wishing to hone their golfing skills, look no further than St Enodoc, located in Rock, featuring stunning coastline views and voted one of the best courses in the UK. Other golfing options include Trevose and the Point at Polzeath. If you venture to Harlyn beach, The Pig hotel and restaurant is worth a visit for a spot of lunch or dinner. The Royal Cornwall Showground is within easy walking distance from Channel View House, and hosts multiple events all year round. For the latest events please refer to the Royal Cornwall Events Centre website. For family fun, visit the stunning town of Newquay where animal lovers can explore Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium. With so many things close at hand, Channel View House is your next family getaway.

From the moment we stepped inside we knew we had picked the right house.
Channel View is a fantastic place to spend a holiday, it is so much bigger than the photos look and the fact it is maintained to high standard which includes the latest tech is not something that should put anyone off. The welcome emails, instructions and tutorial videos are thoughtfully prepared and shared in advance. We could not of enjoyed the comfort of the home anymore. As a family of 4 adults having our own bathrooms in each of the rooms was great. The kitchen is very well stocked with all you could need to use. The location is great and easily accessible for many fantastic areas across Cornwall. A fantastic pub next door which served lovely food and was a nice treat to be able to just walk over in the evening for a drink.
When we arrived the house was stunning and immaculate apart from the kitchen.
On surface it was clean, however there was opened packets of food left in the cupboard and freezer, which was obviously left by previous holiday makers and wasnt cleared out.
We had a great family holiday here.
It is a very clean home with lovely views and outside inside living is easy from the living room into the garden. We were three couples and one child and found it really helpful that every room had it's own bathroom. The kitchen is easy to cook in if you want to and plenty of space in fridge etc for ingredients. Our one minor comment is that there's not a lot of space for clothes storage. Overall a great stay and a great location for exploring the local coastline. Would visit again.
