Corriana

This house was perfect for our family holiday, a fantastic location with beautiful walks from the door, plenty of space for the children to play in the garden and an absolutely stunning view to enjoy come rain or shine!

We would love to stay again, thank you for having us!

Lovely bungalow with a view of the camel estuary from the conservatory.

The listing on the website needs some pictures of the views to do the bungalow justice.

Lovely quiet location with views of Camel estuary, warm with comfortable seating and the conservatory a bonus, but the master bed was a little firm for us.

Easy walk to rock beach and to catch the ferry to Padstow also to The Mariners for good beer and excellent food. Small point could do with extra teaspoons and pint glasses ( Sharps brewery up the road!)

The location is superb and we could walk to all the local facilities. The house is well furnished and we had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed the house.

Plenty of room and we loved the views and the size of the garden. We are already booked for next year.

The accommodation was as described and we found it excellent.

Plenty of room,nice views,comfy and very clean. Also plenty of space for parking and off the road. The conservatory was also an extra. Large gardens to front,rear and side which would be great for dogs to run around in. I would certainly recommend to others. Regards Barry/Shirley

We have stayed at Corriana many times and really like the lovely sunny position and location.

It is a lovely cosy, warm property. There were a few small issues this time. We had a leak in the hall ceiling due to the very heavy rainfall. In the ensuite shower water didn't drain from the bath due to a faulty plug but we put a small plastic disc in to help this. Only the outside light by the garage worked, I think the lightbulbs in the front porch and by the back door needed replacing so it was rather dark when returning at night. On our first evening we discovered there were quite a few mounds of dog poo on the lawn from previous occupants dogs, luckily we were wearing wellingtons! Despite these issues we really enjoyed our stay at Corriana.

Although the property is looking a little tired in places and would benefit from some TLC, this did not affect our enjoyment of our stay.

The bungalow offered comfortable accommodation with a very practical layout. The conservatory was a real bonus on days that were sunny, but windy. Corriana is extremely well situated with delightful views and easy walks to excellent local shops and beaches. We found it to be a very peaceful location which was perfect for us and the dog. If we could make one improvement it would be the bed in bedroom1 which we found too firm. However, we enjoyed our stay so much we have already made a booking to return.

Beautiful location with views over camel estuary.

Large spacious lounge/kitchen. Twin bedroom has no storage space. En-suite shower door needs new seal, difficulty in opening door. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Coriana.

A bit back from the Rock road and a beautiful view of the estuary from the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Corriana is sweet and simple holiday home, lovely location in Rock and situated in a great plot of land (rare these days as a square meter is built on in North Cornwall!

) Garden space was essential for us (as we took four active infants with us!) and Corriana's wrap around garden didn't disappoint with lovely views. A great base to go beach exploring, bakery/butchers incredibly close for a big fresh breakfast each day and easy access st Enodoc golf course and Padstow (via the ferry from rock harbor)

A very nice property with lovely views and well equipped.

The only problem we had was ants in the utility room. otherwise we had a great time.

This was our second time staying at Corianna, we love the location of the house - perfect for walking to Rock beach and for driving to nearby beaches/towns.

We also love the big garden (even more so now we have a very active toddler!) and the open plan living/dining area. Although the house is great, there were a few things we thought could be improved. A lot of the interior doors don’t close properly, which was a bit of a pain. The house has a great range of kitchen utensils, but we went to use the vegetable peelers provided and one was covered in rust and the other was missing a blade - perhaps these should have been removed or replaced? The wooden garden furniture is very worn out and not that pleasant to sit on. All in all, we really enjoyed our stayed and would definitely come back.

Lovely bungalow, only downside was en-suite smelt of damp and when you walked in, and we couldn’t use the conservatory , which had lovely views, but had a strong chemical smell.

Loved the property particularly it’s large garden around the whole property and the open plan living dining area.

There’s a lovely little sun trap patio area to the side of the conservatory where we enjoyed the late sunny afternoons. Location is perfect to explore the surrounding area and walking distance to Rock. There’s a bakery and a Spa convenience store just up the road so everything on hand for an enjoyable stay. With a few minor improvements this could easily have been a 5 Star property - En-suite bathroom needs modernising (towel radiator doesn’t work so felt and smelt a little damp at times) - No wardrobe in the master bedroom for such a good sized room - TV is rather small for such a large living room - Heating on a timer in the garage so no hot water until 5pm - Third Bedroom is rather small and cramped with just two single beds Above did not detract us from having a lovely time in Rock and I would recommend the property with the above points in mind.

Very pleasant well equipped and comfortable property but not very pleased that we had people working in the garden for the whole week.

The house has damp and quite badly.

I have mentioned to John Bray but little communication back. We had to wash all clothes when we got home to get rid of the smell. This is a big shame as otherwise the cottage is great.

Great property at a very reasonable price in a good location.

Make sure you bring bedsheets / towels or arrange through Atlantic laundry / John Bray. We’ll be back!
