    “We have visited Rock for many years but this was our first experience of John Bray Cornish Holidays.”

    We very much enjoyed our 2 week stay at Rock Hill and would like to book the same 2 weeks for 2019. Also, we would like a week in May if there is availability. The property

Rock Hill is a spacious, bright and cheerful self-catering holiday bungalow in a tucked away peaceful location in Rock, enjoying picturesque views of the Camel Estuary. The comfortable and welcoming interior has 3 bedrooms sleeping 7 guests with 3 bathrooms. There is a large south facing garden with mature boundaries and a secondary grassed area below the garden for useful boat storage or additional parking. A few minutes walk away are the village shops and an extremely good restaurant. All 3 bedrooms benefit from en-suites so the property is ideal for couples to share or two small families.Rock Hill has a light kitchen/breakfast room with country style table and chairs and a dining room which flows through to the living room where glass doors and windows make the most of the really pretty views. Bedrooms 1 and 3 have versatile zip and link beds and bedroom 2 is a superking with an additional single bed in bedroom 3. A convenient store room has an area for drying wetsuits or coats after a day on the water or in the sea! There is also a study, utility room and a good-sized garage.Golfers or walkers will appreciate the proximity to the St Enodoc golf course with its stunning scenery and the glorious back drop of the Camel Estuary on the North Cornwall coast. There are footpaths running directly from the house leading you away from the calm waters of the estuary to the surfing centre of Polzeath beach. Couples could take a romantic water taxi ride back home from the twinkling lights of Padstow after an evening of fine dining at one of the charming harbour side restaurants. A passenger ferry also runs to and fro regularly in daylight hours from the slipway or lower beach depending on the tides.Accommodation: Kitchen/Breakfast Room Open plan Living Room/Dining Room with patio doors leading to south facing terrace and garden, with teak garden table and chairs. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
