Kittiwake is a ground floor flat at Gullsway that sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms, both with twin-beds. Gullsway at Highcliffe, Polzeath is a large detached holiday cottage in an elevated, clifftop position overlooking the beach and the Atlantic ocean. The views are truly magnificent and the holiday property is within easy walking distance of the shops and beach via the coastal path. Accessed via an unmade road, the self-catering cottage is subdivided to provide two self-contained apartments; Kittiwake and Sandpiper, convenient for single or multi-family occupation. The Annexe in the main house, can be rented alongside Kittiwake or Sandpiper but is not available for independent rental. September Tide, a third detached bungalow is also available within the grounds. This arrangement offers the great advantage of flexibility of numbers; Kittiwake alone sleeps 4, but if you decide also to rent one or more of the other properties; a larger number can be catered for.
Perfect for a game of football, the garden is mainly laid to lawn with a gate to the cliff path and is for the use of all tenants as is the parking area to the rear. Duvets and bed linen are included for all holiday cottages. A communal laundry includes automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. Night store heating is provided. Up to two pets are permitted in each apartment and tenants are asked to give consideration to occupants of adjoining holiday cottages.
Gullsway Kittiwake commands an almost unbeatable position with its panoramic, beautiful view of the sea, Pentire Point and Newland island. This, together with its proximity to Daymer Bay and Polzeath beach make it the perfect holiday destination for keen surfers and lovers of the Cornish coast. Walk for 5 minutes to arrive at the shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries and of course the beach, of Polzeath. A lovely stroll along the cliff brings you to the mellow waters of Daymer Bay, a perfect beach for younger children, with sand dunes to play hide and seek in and streams to dam. Upriver at Rock there are excellent opportunities for sailing, water-skiing and paddle-boarding.
Pets welcome by Arrangement. Communal laundry room. WiFi is available at this property, but due to local broadband speed is limited to web browsing and email only.
Please note: The Annexe (sleeps up to 7) is the first floor accommodation of the main house and can ONLY be rented alongside a booking of Kittiwake or Sandpiper. If you do wish to rent The Annexe as well as Kittiwake please ring the office on 01208 863206
