2021 - EXCITING NEWS! In early 2021 Atlantis will be undergoing work to add a second floor as an extension, adding two upstairs bedrooms, a new bathroom, a viewing landing and balcony. From 2021 Atlantis will now sleep 6-8 across 3 bedrooms, please see further details below regarding updated bed configurations. This extension will enable guests to soak up sea views from the bedrooms, viewing area and balcony - why not take your morning coffee out to the balcony, sit back and and enjoy the vista!

2020/2021 - Building Works* Atlantis is located next to a building plot. The house on the upper side, Turnstones, was demolished in early March 2020 and planning permission has been granted for a new three bedroom house, we are still awaiting further information on a schedule for this project. Atlantis is a stylishly renovated detached holiday bungalow set in an elevated position enjoying great views over Polzeath bay. A spacious, comfortable and modern seaside holiday home, suitable for a large family or two smaller families or groups of couples. Surfers and swimmers will greatly appreciate the ability to gauge the sea conditions from the comfort of home before making the short walk down to the beach. The outside space includes gardens, patios to the front and rear and parking for 2 cars.

For 2020, Atlantis has one king sized bedroom, one twin bedroom and a third room with bunk beds plus an extra single bed (to be updated as below in 2021). There's also a family bathroom, shower room and utility/drying room; ideal for damp wetsuits and beach towels. The outside shower is an extremely useful addition after a salty day on the beach. The open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room is a great sociable and relaxing space with a generous light feel. The glass conservatory is another comfortable space for entertaining or for resting weary legs and reviving spirits after enjoying the delights of North Cornwall.

The pubs, restaurants and shops of the village cater for all your day-to-day needs. The market town of Wadebridge is 6 miles away and there are some lovely independent shops to browse in as well as the usual town amenities. Wadebridge is situated alongside the river Camel and a great days entertainment can be found cycling the Camel trail to Padstow. Bikes of all sizes can be hired and it’s an easy ride as it runs along the old railway line and is flat and well kept. The opposite direction is equally stunning through fields and woodland towards Bodmin and Wenfordbridge.

  • Viewing landing area with seating - a great escape for a few to enjoy some personal space away from the hub of the rest of the house
  • Balcony from the landing area with a small table and a few chairs to be able to sit back and enjoy the view
