Shilling Stones is a pretty white and slate hung holiday cottage situated at the end of a private road with parking secluded rear garden and raised patio and a separate front patio. Colourful and well appointed in a nautical style with outstanding sea and coastal views from the first floor and a ground floor bedroom. Five minutes walk down to the harbour and village made famous by Doc Martin and the Fisherman's friends. A cheerful bolthole for a family looking for a seaside retreat, sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms.
The first floor has most of the living space creating a reverse-level house, better suited to appreciate the sea views. The living room/dining room and kitchen are open plan and the master bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and those glorious sea views. The ground floor has a twin bedded room with sea views and a bunk bedroom with a door out to the garden. A beautiful landscaped garden area to the rear of the property with a lawned space and a raised patio area perfect for some alfresco dining. A utility room on this level also has access to the secluded rear patio.
The village has wonderful opportunities for fine dining including Nathan Outlaws Fish Kitchen and easy options like fish and chips. There is a small supermarket at the top of the village and a fishmonger on the harbour side. Plenty of interesting shops and galleries for adults to browse or quirky gift shops where children can spend their pocket money. A day out could include a drive to Rock beach less than 20 minutes away, where activities such as wake boarding, water skiing or sailing are available to try or simply for entertainment while you relax in a cafe or pub!
