Fairholme is a spacious characterful holiday cottage in Port Isaac on the North Cornwall coast, offering comfortable family accommodation with a mature private garden to the rear and private parking for two cars. Situated in a quiet location at the top of the village, this self catering house is just a short walk from the local Co-Op where you can pick up your weekly groceries and Port Isaac Harbour with a selection of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Fairholme makes a very attractive holiday home accommodating up to 6 guests in 3 spacious bedrooms.
Retaining its original features with an elegant, open tread, wrought iron staircase linking the floors and arched window designs that flow through the house and into the conservatory. The smart kitchen has all the equipment you could need to cook up a storm from a double oven to kitchen scales. The sophisticated dining room oozes charm and comfort where all the family can come together and enjoy a home-cooked meal in front of the fire after a long day exploring the the coast. Climb upstairs and relax in front of the TV enjoying a favourite family film where you can also enjoy a sea view from the lounge and the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and seperate shower. The two further bedrooms are located on the ground floor with a shower cubicle in each sharing a seperate WC.
In the last few years, Port Isaac has become well known as the setting for the popular TV series, Doc Martin as well as the local sea shanty singing group the 'Fisherman's Friends' who now tour all over and perform at music festivals and host their very own live summer appearance on the platt by the harbour. Fans of the TV can take a 'walk and talk' tour of the village and sometimes, you may even spot the filiming in action which makes for a great day out. Also famous for its beauty, keen walkers can explore the rugged coastline and enjoy stunning view of the ocean, sightings of rare birds and it's also not uncommon to catch a glimpse of a seal or dolphin.
