“4 The Terrace is a proper gem - the house was a great size for our family (three sets of adults plus kids), the rooms are big and high ceilinged, the lounge is huge, the kitchen is big enough and well designed so they're was space for multiple people to cook out hang out, and there patio out the back was fine.”

The sun deck on the top floor is stunning - anyone would love the view. The basement was also absolutely perfect for leaving inflated paddleboards in between uses, and was warm with the boiler for drying anything wet. The best bit is the location, though - the view from the front is straight out over the estuary, beach access is a minutes walk, and the channel in front means there is always water for any water-borne activities. Restaurants and the ferry to Padstow are a very short walk away ...

Restaurants and the ferry to Padstow are a very short walk away. Parking at the house was fine and the shops on Rock were a good walk / short drive away. It's maybe worth noting that some other guests have commented on the condition of the house. There were a few things we saw, like some bits of furniture aren't brand new, and there was a cracked tile in the kitchen floor, etc, but to be honest any very minor imperfections just made us feel a bit more like this was a house to live in and enjoy - if it had been too perfect it might have worried us. As it was, we just enjoyed our stay hugely - we'd definitely stay again.
