We had fun trying to find the cutlery!

My son eventually found the hidden drawer. The settees in the lounge are very tired and were not comfortable. The separate sports/entertainment facility was fantastic and we thought was understated in the description. We chose this house because of the good downstairs bedroom facilities as I find stairs difficult but was disappointed to find two quite high steps from the lounge area. Maybe this could be mentioned. It sounds as though we have a lot of complaints but they are just comments and we thoroughly enjoyed Trevanion.

Trevanion is an exceptional holiday home.

We enjoyed a relaxing family holiday and the house made up for the bad weather. The games annex was amazing and set in a very beautiful garden. All home comforts provided and the beds and bedding were of great quality. If you are looking for a house for all ages Trevanion will just envelope you.

We had a fantastic stay at Trevanion.

The house is truly impressive, and it was lovely to see the photos in the utility room documenting the build process and showcasing the amount of work and care that went into creating such a wonderful home. The garden is stunning, and the summer house and outdoor facilities really made the stay. They provide a separate space for people to relax, play games, or simply unwind, meaning the property never feels crowded, even with a larger group. There was a minor hiccup with the BBQ, which had not been cleaned by previous guests and, upon further inspection, was found to be unsafe for use. However, this was handled very well once reported, and future guests will be pleased to know that a brand-new BBQ was delivered before the end of our stay. Now all that’s needed is good weather! The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and we loved the artwork and interior design throughout the house. There is also plenty of space on the driveway for parking. The location is excellent too—just a 20-minute walk to Rock Beach, which was perfect for us and the dog. As a few pieces of constructive feedback, it would be great to have some larger drinking glasses available, such as pint-sized glasses. The TV in the summer house also has several lines running across the screen. It is still perfectly watchable, but it may be something to consider replacing at some point. Finally, we usually book properties with a hot tub and chose to compromise on this occasion because of the excellent summer house facilities. While this certainly didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the stay, a hot tub would be a fantastic addition and is something we would happily pay a little extra for. It was probably the only feature we missed when comparing this break with other holidays we’ve enjoyed. Overall, a wonderful property that we would happily return to and recommend to others.
