Pentire View is a traditional, spacious end of terrace holiday house, one of the oldest in Polzeath, and is in a prime position with magnificent sea views from almost every room. The epitome of the seaside holiday home, it is only 200 yards from Polzeath beach; so convenient for surfers, beachcombers and walkers alike. With several reception rooms, an enclosed lawned garden and 5 bedrooms sleeping 10 people, it is an unbeatable destination for large family groups. Reserved parking spaces are in a car park 200 metres away.
Classically furnished, the sitting room is flooded with light from large sash windows overlooking the beach. A snug TV room ia an extra living area, particularly useful for children and teenagers or those looking for a spot to enjoy a good book. The open plan kitchen/diner is a large and light; sit at the extra table in the window of the kitchen to be mesmerised by the extraordinary views. Upstairs, the bedrooms share 2 bathrooms, one shower room and one WC. The ground floor has a shower room next to the snug.
A fantastic seaside holiday resort on the North coast of Cornwall, Polzeath is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and coastline and, with its vast stretch of sandy beach edged with interesting rock pools, and lively waters, it is great fun for all the family, whether boogie boarding, swimming, stand up surfing or simply paddling in the shallows. Refresh and refuel from the choice of great cafes, restaurants and the Oystercatcher pub. For a real treat dine out at the St Moritz hotel; don't forget to book a beauty treatment at the Cowshed Spa. Fantastic long walks along the cliff path in either direction bring changing, dramatic views of the coastline and estuary; on a clear day look out for Lundy Island in the distance. Head around the coast line by foot for an easy walk to nearby Daymer Bay, renowned for its gentle bathing waters and the historic St Enodoc church and golf course. Continue on round until you come to Rock, a large sandy stretch of beach facing Padstow harbour. Here you can hire sailing dinghy's or book waterskiing and enjoy the many water sports on offer along the beautiful Camel estuary.
Pets welcome by arrangement to be kept downstairs only and not in sitting room.
