Situated at the top of Port Isaac village, Caelum is a charming detached self-catering bungalow offering comfortable accommodation for 4 - 6 people in 2 bedrooms. With a lawned garden and parking space, this is an easy place to stay and plan your exploration of this quaint fishing harbour and coastline classed as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.
Bedroom 1 has a Kingsize bed plus bunk beds; while bedroom 2 has twins beds. Perhaps purchase some local seafood and create something delicious in the light, bright kitchen. After a busy day on the beach, unwind and relax on the comfy sofas in the serene sitting room.
A quick stroll downhill through narrow lanes brings you to the historic, attractive architecture of the old harbour. Sip a glass of wine on The Platt; dine out at one of the fine restaurants or cafes; count the lobster pots arriving on the boats. Young children will enjoy the rock pools of neighbouring Port Gaverne beach, whilst older children and surfers will love the surfing vibe of Polzeath, about a 15 minute drive south. Explore the caves and rocky beach of nearby Port Quin, a rather magical cove that is wonderful at high tide for swimming and kayaking; join a coasteering group for even more adventure.
