*New for 2020 – a snug*
Slipway 12 is positioned close to the main Rock beach slipway and the Rock Sailing club. An end of row cottage that has been furnished and equipped to a very comfortable standard, creating a welcoming home-from-home for a large family or group of friends. Sleeping 8 guests in 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, Slipway 12 has accommodation set over three floors and has been thoughtfully designed to enable the first floor living area to take full advantage of the stunning views of the Camel estuary.
The bedrooms are all attractively furnished and have pretty homely touches, which create peaceful relaxing places to rest after a busy day on the beach or in the sea. The ground floor has one bedroom with twin beds along with a king size bedroom, the entrance hall, utility room and a bathroom. There is also a cosy snug with a TV and games, ideal for children. The top floor has a further bathroom and a king size bedroom with another bunk bedroom. The spacious open plan lounge/dining room and kitchen has a wonderful feel of space and light with its high ceilings and sliding glass doors opening out to the sunny balcony.
Enjoy great food and locally brewed beers just a stone's throw away at the Mariners pub. Or take a gentle stroll down into Rock for lots more bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. The passenger ferry roves tirelessly back and fourth across the estuary to the pretty harbour town of Padstow, where art galleries, ice cream & fudge parlours and beach shops are wonderful ways to while away the hours until it's time to head back to the slipway and catch the ferry back home. There are lots of great choices for eating out in Padstow, from Rick Stein's fish and chips to his fine dining Seafood restaurant, or Paul Ainsworth at No6. For late night revellers or couples returning from romantic candlelit dinners, the water taxi can be summoned to float you back through the darkness late at night.
