The property

If you're looking for a peaceful, tranquil family holiday home within a short distance of Rock then The Old Granary has to be the one for you. Spacious living accommodation, which is chic and colourful, has been finished to a high standard within this traditional styled property. There is room for 10-11 to sleep comfortably in 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms, so fabulous for two families to share with room to spare. Set on a small private estate, accessed via a private drive with a large garden and a sunny terrace to enjoy evening drinks or family BBQs. A footpath leads you down to the foreshore at the idyllic and undiscovered Cant cove. This self catering property is tastefully decorated with lovely bursts of colour and features. The highlight has to be the situation and the views across the estuary and the open farmland beyond. Imagine returning from a hard day at the beach to this beautiful setting and south facing garden with friends and family to BBQ some freshly caught mackerel and indulge in a glass or two of the local Camel Valley fizz. Comfy sofas and a practical, atmospheric wood burner help to make the Old Granary a perfect house for all seasons. There is even a wet room and a Jacuzzi bath for warming up after a bracing surf, fishing trip or sailing lesson. Shared use of a communal tennis court is available too whenever its free with no booking required. This is an exceptional location within an easy drive of the popular surfing beach of Polzeath, the sailing hub of Rock or the family friendly bay at Daymer but also close to the thriving town of Wadebridge with shops, supermarkets a sports centre and cinema. To further explore the estuary, bikes can be hired from Wadebridge or Padstow so cyclists can follow the old railway line all along the opposite bank of the river Camel.Ground Floor: Open plan Kitchen/Dining Room with doors to Terrace Utility Room Lounge with doors to Terrace Bedroom 5: Superking bed (6ft) with en-suite Shower Room/W.C. 1st Floor: Bedroom 1: Superking Bed (6ft) with en-suite Bathroom/W.C.
