There’s nowhere quite like Port Isaac. The narrow, cobbled streets, the whitewashed cottages and the slim thoroughfares and alleyways. All these things add to the rich character of this quaint fishing village.
Nestled amidst the rugged scenery of the North Cornwall coast, Port Isaac is a friendly community, welcoming visitors year-round.
Port Isaac is known for the TV series Doc Martin, with Port Isaac being the main North Cornwall filming location for the show. It’s also where the sea shanty singing group Fisherman’s Friends began their musical career.
The neighbouring ports of Port Gaverne and Port Quin are excellent local areas to explore along the South West Coast Path. While the village itself has a myriad of cafés, pubs and restaurants, including Michelin starred chef Nathan Outlaw.
