Enjoy our 24-hour live streaming webcam of the sheltered beaches of Greenaway and Daymer Bay and panoramic views across the Camel Estuary on the North Cornwall coast.
Nestled near the mouth of the Camel Estuary around the headland from Rock beach, lies sandy Daymer Bay. An eternally popular dog-friendly and family-friendly holiday location, Daymer offers proper bucket-and-spade beach holidays for all ages! Perfect for paddling, swimming, SUP and kayaking, it offers stunning sunsets, rock pools and a soft sandy beach that is ideal for picnics and beach barbeques. When the swell picks up, Daymer can occasionally be surfed, but is more known as a popular spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Inland lies St Enodoc Golf Course and the very pretty and tiny St Enodoc Church, the resting place of Sir John Betjeman.
Follow the coast path around from Daymer Bay, and Greenaway beach is the last attainable cove you can reach before Polzeath. Here the majestic cliff top houses command breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and offer access onto the coastal paths. Steep stone steps lead down to Greenaway beach, a beautiful spot where you can often have the beach to yourself. At high tides, the beach all but disappears, while at low tide a dizzying array of rock pools are revealed of all shapes and sizes along with remnants of shipwrecks.
