The large communal spaces are great for easy living with a large group. Furnishings and decor are all very fresh, homely and functional. I think you should add to the description that the entrance to the rear garden is shared with a property that overlooks the garden. This might be important to people with young children and dogs as it means strangers come into your private space. You should also say in the description that the housekeeping team need 7 days notice to put the king sized bed up as twin. I few suggestions for improvements as it's newly set up as a holiday home: - provide a welcome book with info on the house and local area, and somewhere to leave notes about things that are not working (for example, that there is a wasps nest in the conifer tree in the rear garden, the lock on the downstairs toilet doesn't work and the kitchen tap is leaking). - provide a washing line or clothes airer. - put shower mixer taps on all the baths. - add a couple more large pots in the kitchen, a large frying pan and serving spoons. What you have at the moment isn't really sufficient for the size of property. - add shutters to the windows on the rear bedrooms, as these get very hot. In one of the bedrooms you can't open the window very far as it opens outwards onto the Juliet balcony, which makes it difficult to cool the room at night.

The property

In the fishing village of Port Isaac in Cornwall, Lamorna is a bright and airy holiday property. With a games area and an enclosed garden with a view of the sea, this pet-friendly property is an excellent location for a family and their furry friend. When you arrive, you'll be greeted with a driveway where you can park and enter the games area, which has a pool table and a Smart TV to keep the kids entertained. Melt into the sofa with a cup of tea as the woodburning stove crackles in front of you in an open-plan living space with a seaside theme to the left. The shaker-style kitchen has everything you need, including a rangemaster oven, cooktop, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and the all-important dishwasher. Settle down at the dining table with seating for the whole family and chatter about the adventures of the day or make dinner an alfresco affair in the rear garden. A large conservatory is available for quiet reading, and a washing machine and tumble dryer are available to keep your clothes clean. There is a ground-floor double bedroom with an en-suite for persons with limited mobility, as well as four other bedrooms on the first floor. You can select between a super-king-size, which is zip/link, a king-size, a double with a TV, and a twin bedroom, which also has a TV. Start your day with a home-cooked breakfast and a cup of tea before exploring your surroundings on foot. Outlaw's New Road, where you may enjoy fish delights, and Port Gaverne Beach, where you can explore rock pools, are both just a short walk away. Port Isaac is a charming fishing village in Cornwall that offers visitors a variety of attractions and activities. The community is recognised for its scenic harbour as well as the numerous artists and crafters who have settled here. Several geological features, such as Doyden Castle and Lundy Bay, can also be found in the vicinity. Get in the car and head to the seaside town of Polzeath, a famous surfing destination with some of the greatest beaches in the area. Pentire Point, National Trust - Pentire, and Stepper Point are among the many sites in the area that visitors can enjoy trekking and exploring. Visit Padstow; the St Enodoc Church is a lovely place of worship, and Stepper Point is a lovely place to walk or picnic. The Camel Trail is a terrific way to explore the area on foot or by bike, and the Little Petherick Creek Bridge is a beautiful bridge over a creek. Choose Lamorna for an ideal seaside vacation home.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £400.

About the location

Polzeath 6 miles; Padstow 9 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
