“I sent an email on Monday to say the washing machine was not working - and did not hear back from you.”

I had a guest from Australia who had been travelling and needed to use the washing machine. Tried to phone contact on brochure which was JohnBray but they did not pick up. In the end we had to find a laundrette which was inconvenient to say the least. The WiFi name / password you sent me via email was incorrect and so it took some time to connect but luckily we found the correct password was on the back of the router. In the end we had to find a laundrette which was inconvenient to say the least. The WiFi name / password you sent me via email was incorrect and so it took some time to connect but luckily we found the correct password was on the back of the router. You need to ensure correct WiFi / password is provided for your clients as we arrived on a Sunday and one of the party needed to work. Happy with property but your admin / follow up on emails could be improved.

Dear Mrs Kelly, I am so sorry that you experienced these problems whilst staying at our cottage and I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. I have raised this with the booking agent and I am awaiting their comments. This is not the standard of comfort we expect to be offered in our cottage and we really hope that it didn’t spoil your holiday or detract from the beauty of Port Isaac. Best wishes, Jacki (owner) Property Owner

About the location

PORT ISAAC

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.

Please note: Temple Cottage will no longer be accepting pets.
