    “Slipway 14 is a great base.”

    It is well equipped, the kitchen and bathrooms are great. While the same issue is shared by all the row of houses, the outside space at the front of the house could do with being made more welcoming or useable - it felt very functional.

Slipway & Anchorage

The Slipway properties are all located at the bottom of Rock, on the other side of the road from the Rock Sailing club slipway.  There are three terrace rows of houses that alll have South facing aspects and balconies and offer a perfect spot to have family groups rent multiple properties so each family can be in the same place as their friends but also have some space and time to themselves..

The property

Slipway 14 is a very comfortable terraced holiday cottage enjoying fine estuary views, across Rock's colourful boat moorings towards the far banks and fields on the Padstow side of the river. Ideally suited for a family of 6 who enjoy the beach, water sports, golfing and being within walking distance of shops, cafes, pubs and a ferry ride from the picturesque harbour town of Padstow. It will sleep a family of 6 in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms on two floors with most of the living space on the first floor to make the most of the views. A private parking space is available.The kitchen is light and contemporary with all you need for family dining and preparing picnics to take down to the beach, which is just a few minutes walk away. The lounge/diner has squishy sofas where you can relax and take in the view from inside or slide back the big glass doors and take a drink or the morning papers out onto the balcony. The property has two twin bedded rooms and a king size bedroom. An outside courtyard patio is a useful area for al fresco meals or just somewhere to fill up with shoes, welly's, windbreaks, wet towels and wetsuits and any other beach or sporting kit.Slipway 14 is ideally located for families to leave the car and explore so much by foot with Rock's main pontoon just two-minutes walk away. Sign up the kids or brave adults to a wake boarding lesson, or watch your family, from the comfort of your balcony vantage spot, be whisked up the estuary by a speedboat on a large inflatable banana! Take buckets and spades down to Porthilly cove easily reached at low tide by a footpath just in front of the Mariners pub, wander over to the pretty church at St Michaels in its fabulous waterfront position. For extensive shopping options try the 6-mile drive to the town of Wadebridge, where there are three supermarkets, a leisure centre and a cinema.Ground Floor: Shower/W.C.
