“A lovely property.”

We loved it from the minute we walked through the door. Very bright and very clean. Amazing views across the estuary. It was lovely to sit on that balcony first thing in the mornings and in the evenings. A very good location for the ferry and all the beautiful walks and of course the pub! We would definitely like to go back to that property.

“We barely needed the heating system but there are no instructions on how to use a complex system.”

I went to the office where you have an identical system and nobody knew how to use that either. Some explanation needed including ideally don’t touch it as I think others had tried as every heater said a different thing. Plenty of hot water but none in kitchen if bath runs. This is almost certainly rectified by a part on the mega flow cylinder. Otherwise small but charming and perfect for the golf course. I do think it is a bit curious thatwhen my wife rang to ask if there was a cafetière or coffee maker.( should have been on website ) she was told that it would be a breach of security so t she couldn’t be told. Woke gone mad !!

“It was a very comfortable and homely property.”

“The house was spotlessly clean and lovely with almost everything you could want.”

I have taken one star away because in the very small print we were told that linen was not provided. i wonder how many people have arrived there only to find they have no bed sheets or towels provided because they had not read the small print. Apart from that irritation we had a great holiday and we were so lucky with the wonderful weather. A lovely place to stay and we would certainly return.

“We didn’t know there wasn’t any linen or bath towels.”

I only read bring tea towels (which were there) and beach towels. We even couldn’t rent them as they didn’t reply to me.

Slipway 15 is a mid-terraced holiday cottage enjoying panoramic estuary views from its balcony and an open-plan living space thoughtfully situated on the first floor. A sheltered, slate patio sits above the garage, providing a lovely spot to soak in the fresh sea breeze with an evening tipple, or to store sandy shoes, wetsuits and towels away from the main living areas. Newly renovated to a high standard, with a contemporary décor and quality furnishings, Slipway 15 is the ideal property for a family or group of friends, with three sumptuous double bedrooms and two bathrooms. A fantastic self-catering location for the beach and waterfront of Rock and a few minutes walk away from the St Enodoc Golf Course. Stepping inside, be charmed by the stylish interior of the well-equipped kitchen, home to a fantastic range of appliances including an electric oven and ceramic hob, along with a handy dishwasher to ensure your space is kept neat and tidy! Gather together at the rustic wooden dining table to indulge in the fruits of your labor before settling down for the evening with a sumptuous spot in front of the television on the leather sofa. An abundance of natural light floods the sociable space through the elegant sliding doors, opening out onto the balcony and providing a lovely spot to enjoy a sundowner, so you can appreciate the view over towards the Padstow side of the estuary and the iron bridge spanning the creek from Little Petherick. If it's ever too blustery for the balcony, there's a comfortable vantage spot inside the lounge from the pretty window seat. On the first floor there is a twin bedroom, with another twin bedroom and a super-king set on the ground floor, each thoughtfully laid out with a nautical blue décor, along with a utility room, shower room and a separate bathroom. The Mariners Pub is a stones throw from the cottage, so brilliantly convenient for a last minute supper solution if the Cornish air on the golf course or the beach has worn everyone out. St Enodoc Golf Course has one of the finest links golf courses in the South West with the most stunning sea and estuary views of any course in the world and its just a few minutes walk from Slipway 15. Ramblers will get enormous pleasure too from the golf course, as there are many footpaths around and alongside the fairways, heading towards Daymer Bay.Ground Floor: Shower room with W.C. The Slipway properties are all located at the bottom of Rock, on the other side of the road from the Rock Sailing club slipway. There are three terrace rows of houses that alll have South facing aspects and balconies and offer a perfect spot to have family groups rent multiple properties so each family can be in the same place as their friends but also have some space and time to themselves..

Padstow 1.5 miles via ferry; Polzeath 2.8 miles; Wadebridge 6.2 miles.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
