Trehaverock Cottage is a delightfully characterful holiday cottage located in St Endellion on the main route between the famous surfing hub of Polzeath and the home to the Doc Martin TV series and the shanty singing Fisherman's Friends, Port Isaac, on the North Cornwall coast.

This charming self-catering holiday cottage sleeps 6 guests in 4 cosy bedrooms, making it an ideal base for all the family, including your pet or a group sharing.

Trehaverock Cottage offers comfortable accommodation, including a light-filled conservatory area overlooking the mature, enclosed gardens, and an atmospheric living area with a separate study area for those who need to check their emails while away. Built in the early 1600s, Trehaverock Cottage is a much-loved, family holiday home with plenty of character throughout including beautiful slate floors, low ceiling beams, stone faced and curved walls.

The layout downstairs provides plenty of options for everyone with a dining/lounge area in the conservatory, a living room, a study area, a music room equipped with a piano for those who wish to play a melody and a newly renovated kitchen.

Relax in the living area where you can sink into a chair with a book or snuggle up with a favourite film.

Open the patio doors from the conservatory out onto the patio for some alfresco dining, a perfect sheltered spot to enjoy the last of the sun on a summer's evening.

The enclosed gardens are a great space for children to play; kick a ball, play tag or even throw a ball for the dog.

The majority of the bedrooms are found on the first floor, the linked by the hallway; master bedroom, a small double and twin bedroom that share a family bathroom, and the final double bedroom is found on the ground floor next to the shower room, which has access to the garden via an outside stairway. From your doorstep, take a stroll across the field to the family-friendly Trevathan Farm Shop and Restaurant for a traditional Cornish cream tea while the children play in the park area.

You can even pick up some local groceries here as well as Pick Your Own Strawberries, in season, which tends to be during the months of May and July, depending on the weather.

Located on the opposite side of the B3314 is St Endellion Church, described by the former Archbishop Rowan Williams as his favourite English Church, which also captured Sir John Betjeman's interest and now remains a huge part of the spiritual community, including the St Endellion Music Festivals and Endelienta.

With a plethora of incredible beaches within just a short drive away, such as Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Trebarwith Strand, Harlyn and situated within a 10min drive of the renowned haven of Rock on the Camel estuary with its charming foot ferry leading to the culinary jewel that is Padstow.

There is plenty close by to keep everyone entertained.

For those who seek a trekking challenge, Cornwall is a walker's paradise with an abundance of trails to follow; one that stands out is the South West Coast Path, where you can admire the stunning coastal views whilst tackling the paths and enjoy a picnic on the way.

Several outstanding golf courses are nearby, including the championship courses of Trevose and (just 10 mins away) one of Britain's most challenging Links Courses, St Enodoc, with its breathtaking views of the sea.
