  • “The house smelt damp on arrival The mattresses and pillows on all beds except king size were not comfortable.”

The showers were under powered. The kitchen is very dated and the hob looked quite dirty. Sitting room sofas and chairs were uncomfortable and also very dated/stained.

The showers were under powered. The kitchen is very dated and the hob looked quite dirty. Sitting room sofas and chairs were uncomfortable and also very dated/stained. The house is a great size and very warm when heating came on. Washing machine and drier used - very efficient. Great little garden and location very good too Overall nice house but tired and dated

The property

Rock 1.2 miles. Little Pityme is a traditional and attractive stone and slate hung converted barn. Located at the top of Rock village, in a quiet residential area, this is a handy, central base from which to explore North Cornwall's beautiful landscape on your holiday. With deceptively spacious and comfortable self-catering living accommodation, there are lovely views of the countryside from the sitting room on the first floor and from the small enclosed back garden. This charming and relaxed holiday property sleeps six people in three bedrooms and your pets are welcome by arrangement. With plenty of seating in the upstairs sitting room, snuggle up by the open fire during Winter and flex your competitive spirit with a board game or cards around the coffee table. This is a lovely light room with a vaulted ceiling adding to its character. Off the sitting room, there is a twin-bedded room with en-suite bathroom on the first floor. On the ground-floor you will discover an additional two well-presented bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, ideal for those with limited mobility or the little ones. Located so close to the stunning beaches of Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath, you will have plenty of time to discover them all plus the rolling sand dunes, rock pools and secret coves in between. The pretty market town of Wadebridge, set by the Camel river, is just a short drive away; with interesting independent shops, cinema and a museum, there are also excellent cafes and restaurants. Rather than driving, catch the ferry across the estuary to Padstow - a bustling fishing harbour. From here, rent a bike and cycle along the Camel Trail to Wadebridge. Enjoy the changing view of water-skiers, sailing boats and water birds as you peddle along beside the beautiful Camel estuary. Secure your stay at Little Pityme for an unforgettable stay.
