    “The cottage is on a very steep hill.”

    Beautiful views but to walk up and down the cliff you need to be in tip top condition or ready to use your vehicle daily.

The property

Badgers Cliff is detached bungalow located in a quiet residential area in an elevated position overlooking Padstow bay and surrounding coastline. A footpath provides access to Polzeath beach with its shops, surf schools, cafes and restaurants. With an enclosed rear lawn and terrace, the use of a garage and off road parking, this is an easy and practical self catering holiday home for 6-8 people, accommodated in 4 bedrooms. Your family pets are also welcome by arrangement.The kitchen is warm and welcoming with lots of storage space, smart work tops and all the equipment you need for feeding hungry holidaymakers. If you don't fancy cooking after long days out exploring, how about strolling down the beach and trying out one of the cafes or restaurants or the Oystercatcher pub nearby. Fed and watered, collapse in the comfortable red sofas of the lounge for the latest movie or a fun board game. Bedrooms offer lots of cupboards for your kit and there is a choice of a double bedroom, 2 twin-bed rooms and a bunk room.The essential surf spot of North Cornwall, don’t miss the chance of a holiday in Polzeath, especially at this functional property with its extensive sea views, and close proximity to the beach. Be the first in the sea for a pre-breakfast dip, then pack a rucksack for a day out hiking on the panoramic coastal path past the National Trust's Pentire Point and The Rumps - a promontory with iron age ramparts to discover. Ascend the hilltop for amazing ocean views and the chance to spot dolphins and seals. Wadebridge 7.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
