The property

Copper Mine Cottage is situated just outside the quiet hamlet of Trelill, a peaceful corner of North Cornwall where rolling countryside meets the rugged Atlantic coast. This pet friendly, detached holiday home with off-road parking offers a relaxing escape for couples or small families looking to embrace Cornwall’s slower pace of life.

Nestled within an orchard, with a front lawned garden and access to 10 acres of private pasture & charming woodland, it’s an ideal base for exploring and is on the doorstep of some of the county’s most celebrated spots.

The cottage has been lovingly restored and inside, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen with everything needed for easy home cooking, oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster, perfect for those quiet evenings when you’d rather stay in.

The living and dining area provides a comfortable space to unwind after a day by the sea, complete with seating and a Smart TV (with full Sky package) for relaxed entertainment.

Two inviting bedrooms await when night falls: one king-size and one twin, both served by a generous ground-floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC.

Both rooms include 400-thread count cotton bedding for a restful night’s sleep and the bathroom is equipped with eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

The cottage has been designed thoughtfully with a mixture of modern and antique furniture to create a cosy yet fresh feel with all the amenities you need for an easy getaway.

Step outside to enjoy your morning coffee in the private patio area or catch the last of the afternoon sun around the barbecue.

Guests are encouraged to explore the grounds-discover quiet seating areas beside a babbling brook, watch for birds, and you might even spot deer grazing on the grounds in the early morning light.

From Trelill, you’re perfectly placed to explore all of Cornwall’s highlights.

Right on the doorstep you’ll find coastal walks, sandy beaches, surfing spots, and a fantastic range of pubs, cafés, and farm shops.

The characterful fishing village of Port Isaac is close by, famed for its narrow streets, harbour views, and freshly caught seafood.

Polzeath offers golden sands and famous surf just a short drive away, while Padstow tempts with harbourfront restaurants, independent shops, and scenic stretches of the Camel Trail.

For a change of pace, Bodmin Moor beckons with its wild beauty and walking routes steeped in legend.

About the location

PORT ISAAC

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions, including the beautiful Lundy Bay, known for being the filming location of the hugely popular Doc Martin series. You may be lucky enough to see the infamous Fisherman's Friends performing on the Platt during the summer months singing traditional shanties. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
