Rose cottage is a delightful Cornish cottage with exceptional appeal and true Cornish charm. Beautifully presented in crisp white and blue with a classic slate roof and pretty front garden, it is situated in Port Isaac's historic Dolphin Street, only a couple of minutes up from the harbour. This self-catering cottage sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with one bathroom, making it ideal for bringing along the grandparents too! The cottage benefits from an allocated parking space at the top of the village - please ask us if you want to chat about this before booking.
Rose Cottage has a lovely kitchen, which is bright and colourful with the welcoming sight of a warming Rayburn and an additional dining room. The gorgeous sitting room has a fantastic slated floor with a wood burner to stoke up on cooler days, or cosy evenings. The three bedrooms are all tastefully and cheerily decorated with two doubles and one twin bedded room. With its pretty, well stocked front garden and additional sunny enclosed decked garden at the rear, there is plenty of outdoor space for tracking down the sun, or for a peaceful cup of tea.
The fabulous location means that your family can spend time wandering around and exploring all that is on offer; pop down to the harbour where you can buy fresh fish landed daily, take lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants, mooch around the gift shops, galleries and pottery or listen to the famous Fishermen's Friends singing while enjoying a cool glass of wine on the Platt. A walk around North Cornwall's coastal paths, up and down the dramatic cliffs, will bring you to neighbouring Port Quin, a beautiful spot that is now owned by the National Trust. Or head to nearby Port Gaverne, a peaceful and quiet cove with a hearty pub serving locally brewed ales, and where kayaking and coasteering are now quite popular.
