On warm evenings open up the french doors to the garden to let the fresh air drift in. Rock is renowned for its many water-sports; choose from sailing, waterskiing, wake-boarding or paddle boarding, as well as exhilarating inflatable rides for older children. With the Rock Sailing Club and Camel Ski School there are plenty of options to hire craft or book in for lessons. At Rock you can catch the ferry over to the pretty harbour of Padstow; home to celebrity chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth Padstow is a wonderful day trip with lots to see and do. Rock offers a mile of golden sand that extends right past the Sailing Club and wraps around to Daymer Bay. Perfect for dog-walking, you can walk the whole way on the beach at low tide to the sheltered bathing beach at Daymer Bay. Children love exploring the many rock pools and splashing in the shallow waters and on breezy day it provides ideal conditions for wind and kite surfing.
