Little Pityme is a traditional and attractive stone and slate hung converted barn. Located at the top of Rock village, in a quiet residential area, this is a handy, central base from which to explore North Cornwall's beautiful landscape on your holiday. With deceptively spacious and comfortable self-catering living accommodation, there are lovely views of the countryside from the sitting room on the first floor and from the small enclosed back garden. This charming and relaxed holiday property sleeps 6-8 people in 4 bedrooms (one bedroom has bunks) and your pets are welcome by arrangement.
With plenty of seating in the upstairs sitting room, snuggle up by the open fire during Winter and flex your competitive spirit with a board game or cards around the coffee table. This is a lovely light room with a vaulted ceiling adding to its character. Off the sitting room, there is a twin-bedded room with ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 1, with a kingsize bed, is on the ground floor with French windows leading to the garden. Two further bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, 1 twin and 1 bunk room, great fun for children.
Located so close to the stunning beaches of Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath, you will have plenty of time to discover them all plus the rolling sand dunes, rock pools and secret coves in between. The pretty market town of Wadebridge, set by the Camel river, is only a 10 minute drive away; with interesting independent shops, cinema and museum, there are also excellent cafes and restaurants. Rather than driving, catch the ferry across the estuary to Padstow - a bustling fishing harbour. From here, rent a bike and cycle along the Camel Trail to Wadebridge. Enjoy the changing view of water-skiers, sailing boats and water birds as you peddle along beside the beautiful Camel estuary.
