The kitchen diner area includes a second lounge/snug area; a great extra space for children or teenagers to watch movies or read books. One double bedroom, one bunk room, and a family bathroom are set on the ground floor alongside a utility/drying room; perfect for hanging up damp wetsuits, sailing kit and towels. Upstairs within the main house, there are two further double bedrooms that share a bathroom. Additional double bedroom above the garage with a bathroom ensuite and juliet balcony. Sandy Lodge is one of those relaxed properties that is totally geared up for families and its location means you can really enjoy everything the North coast has to offer. Dogs will love exploring the public bridleways and coastal footpaths that pass by the house, most of which find their way to either Porthilly Beach or the beautiful Daymer Bay. At Rock you can try sailing, paddle-boarding or waterskiing, or you can catch the ferry over to Padstow to discover this historic fishing harbour and the delights of Rick Stein's fish and chips. With Polzeath beach just up the road, the group can try their hand at surfing or boogie boarding. For the perfect beach day, pack a picnic and head to sheltered Daymer Bay to swim and snorkel in its protected clear waters and indulge in some serious rock-pooling and sandcastle building.
2 Pets welcome by arrangement, but unfortunately cats are not permitted.
