At John Bray Cornish Holidays, we’re proud to support our local community, and in 2025 we are raising funds for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust – a vital lifeline for those living in and visiting Cornwall.

As part of our fundraising efforts, we’re excited to launch a creative children’s art competition to help support this brilliant cause.

The Competition

John Bray Cornish Holidays children's competition

Children of all ages are invited to unleash their imagination and design a holiday home for ‘Heli’ the helicopter!

Whether it’s a luxurious mansion with a helipad and hangar for Heli to rest in, or a quirky barn by the sea with a custom-built wash station, we want to see bold, colourful, and creative ideas. The more imaginative, the better.

Entry to the competition is completely free, but we kindly ask parents to consider making a small voluntary donation when submitting entries, if they can.

Every penny raised will be fund-matched by our parent company, Sykes Cottages – making your contribution go even further in supporting the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.

What can I win?

The competition runs until 31st October 2025, and one talented winner will receive a £500 holiday voucher to spend on a UK self-catering break with Sykes Cottages in 2026.

How do I enter?

Simply download the entry form, or collect one from our office: The Pavilion Building, Rock, Wadebridge PL27 6JS.

Then complete your design and hand it in to our team, post it to the office or email it to victoria.rogers@sykescottages.co.uk.

Judging will take place on 1st November 2025.

Parents, don’t forget!

While entry is free, please consider donating to Cornwall Air Ambulance via the QR code, or by visiting our JustGiving page – every little bit helps this fantastic charity.
