Beach Art with Bill

Enjoy an inspiring beach sand art session to clear the mind and get your creativity flowing in the fresh air on Polzeath beach.

This unique experience is a great way for anyone to connect with their inner artist. You’ll begin the two-hour session with a quick cuppa while Bill discusses design ideas, before heading over to the seashore to get ropes, rakes and drawing tools! Use geometric shapes and patterns to create intricate designs on an eco-canvas, that will be gently washed away with the rising tide.

Come along solo, as a couple or bring the whole family with you to feel the sand between your toes while you enjoy this relaxing experience. Your handiwork will truly come to life when viewed against the most magical of sunset backdrops, from the surrounding cliff tops

Bill is available for commission work to create unique messages in the sand or to surprise loved ones on special occasions. He also runs “Shooting Hidden Cornwall” photography walks along the North Cornwall coast path.

How to book: Contact Bill via his Facebook page or head over to his website. Prices from £40 for a 2-hour session.

An Island BBQ

Floating in the middle of the estuary with breath taking 360º views, ‘The Island’ is one of North Cornwall’s best kept secrets. A unique and memorable spot to stop off on your boat, or head out to on your paddleboard or kayak, it provides a safe haven for all estuary users; somewhere to monitor the water ski safety area and also access useful tidal information. Visit this floating café during the day to enjoy a hot chocolate, coffee and a snack.

If you fancy something special, why not book a ‘BBQ box’ and enjoy a private BBQ feast at this scenic spot in the evening? Fee’s Food have curated a tasty and convenient range of delicious boxes using the freshest local produce. There is a meat box and a fish box, both of which come with coleslaw and bread, but you can also customise your box with tasty extras to suit your group.

Breakfasts are also available either as larger catered breakfasts with Fee’s team or just a simple breakfast box filled with fresh pastries to enjoy with your coffee after a water ski.

You will be transported over to ‘The Island’ by the Camel Ski team where you’ll be met by a pre-lit Big Green Egg BBQ, all ready for your group to get cooking. If you don’t feel like BBQing yourself, then one of Fee’s experienced team can take care of it all while you kick back and relax with a sundowner and the best view in town!

Prices and BBQ Box menus can be booked online and, as long as there is water around The Island, the coffee machine will be working!
